Obviously they don't want to spend money..but will have space...does boston make anymore moves or try to add some more junk to field a full roster

Seems pretty clear that Danny is willing to just get anything in return for Doc / KG at this point.  Ready to move on to the rebuild.

Wouldn't we be doing ourselves more of a favor by letting Doc go, letting KG retire and either trading or buying out PP (if the final determination is blowing this thing up) and reaping the benefit of clearing all that salary instead of taking back a ton more in salary (DJ) that we will have a tough time unloading in the future?

deandre is not horrible, slightly overpaid.

he is pretty bad...not very good on offense..doesn't get a ton of rebounds...

Dunno, people were quite giddy at one about another center who can't score or make free throws... and who is currently overpaid on another team.

The love affair with Perkins can easily be chalked up to him being a fan favorite. Happens to every fan base. They value a player much more than should be.

You don't acquire a fan favorite through a trade, thus taking any inflated value out of Jordan. When he is not your binky ala Perkins, you simply look at him for what he is. Mannix is spot on.

He is overpaid now, when he gets traded to us and the 15% trade kicker kicks in we are reaching the horrible level IMO

I'm not interested in a deal with the Clippers that isn't bringing back Bledsoe. I was considering it before if we could move Terry and Bass along with KG for Jorda, Butler, Green and a 1st or two, but now I'd rather not.

I don't like getting the short end of any deal, especially when you know you are giving up more than you are getting from the start.

If KG is going to retire if he doesn't go to LAC then fine pull the trigger, something is better than nothing, but if KG will come back I'd rather that and hope that either with Rondo back we can make a reasonable run in the playoffs or if its going terribly maybe KG waives his no trade at the deadline and we can move him to a team like OKC.

If the Clippers want to play hardball then fine, let them move on with Shaw or Hollins and hope that they can get CP3 to stay. I honestly hope if this deal doesn't go through he goes to Houston or Dallas and the Clips end up with nothing.

he is pretty bad...not very good on offense..doesn't get a ton of rebounds...

His rebound rate is 17.6, higher than Noah's, remember his minutes were limited that's why his per game averages aren't great.

He rebounds well enough. His issues lay elsewhere.

The thing is with that cap space can we still sign Josh Smith? And then sign some deadly shooters for the bench?

If we can do that, Rondo/Bradley/Green/Smith/Jordan isn't that... Its a good defensive team at best, and if we can have enough cap space to sign shooters on the bench it'll have a decent tandem. We'll probably re-sign Barbosa too.
