What's a worse contract?  Terry 5 mil x 2?  Lee 5 mil x 2?  Or Bass 7 mil x 2?

Are they all "bad" contracts?  SOme people seem to think you can actually get value for Bass.  You think?
I think Bass and Terry are both bad contracts and have negative trade value. I think Bass is still a very good bench player but is so overpaid that his value is negative. While Terry is kaput.

I think Courtney Lee is an okay contract and easily moved either for improved cap flexibility or a comparable talent who fills more of a need.

Don't relent on Bledsoe Danny!

...or at the very least dump Terry/Bass

If they won't give us Bledsoe, make them take Terry, Lee, AND Bass. Give us Jordan, Butler, and 2014 and 2016 1sts.

First of all, Lee's contract has 3 years remaining on it. Second, Terry and Lee are redundant. Bass is actually serviceable, and plays a position that is harder to stock.

Whatever Ainge does, I hope  he doesn't trade Bass to the Clippers.  I actually want to enjoy watching the Clippers next season.  I'm already resigned to next season being a 82 game exhibition for the lottery for the Celtics.  It'd be nice to have another team to root for without Bass mucking things up.

One proposed solution in Celtics-Clippers talks, sources say: If Clips take back Courtney Lee or Jason Terry, Boston would relent on Bledsoe
Please don't give up Courtney Lee. Happily get rid of Terry though.

I'd definitely rather give up Lee than Bass.

Clips get

Doc
KG
A dumped salary (terry, lee or bass)
PP when he is bought out

I'm really kinda sad that it's the Celtics relenting on what we want.

Please don't give up Courtney Lee. Happily get rid of Terry though.

Why?

He is the definition of a complimentary player (and didn't even play very well last year).

We need to free up space and money and tradable assets need to be gathered.  He is not a help.

Because I believe Courtney Lee (and his contract) are easy to move in another deal.

But Jason Terry (or Bass) are not.

PS: If deal happens, I think C's will try to deal PP to a cap space team for a trade exception, then make a run at Josh Smith (sign+trade).

Yes, and we may be one Rondo knee injury away from everyone singing praises about how masterfully he reloaded in motion.

Yeah I think we could move Lee pretty easily, I think Terry is the hard one to get rid of.

So send him out now. Lee can be moved in the future if you want.

You are right... the site I was looking at is wrong.  Lee has 3 years left.  Ugh.

Celtics fans will be buying a jersey with TANK on the back real soon...your long wait for the good ole days to return is almost realized...rejoice!

For the actual real fans that watch competitive basketball...this hurts. Jordan might be the worst free throw shooting center since Shaq.
