The Lakers are interested in acquiring an additional 6th rounder, PM if you're interested in trading out of the round.

Hey guys just saying, I love making draft picks, and I hate waiting, but I love my starting 5.

So there's that. That's all.

I always thought that granger would get moved so the fact that he was traded is not a surprise, but I'm not sure I like moving him for AV.  I love AV when he is on the court but two years, 31gp and 25 gp makes me nervous.  I probably would have traded granger for another scorer, but one who doesn't score in the same ways as Lebron.

Scoring isn't a problem for our team.  Jeff Green is as efficient as Granger (or moreso), and playing beside Durant he was a strong second / third option (averaging between 15 and 16.5 points).

Arguably, rebounding and the ability to match up with certain big teams was a weakness.  Now it isn't.

Have to agree. Having Granger gave you a nice one two offensive punch that is not guaranteed with Lowry/Gordon. Having AV now makes this team closer to the old Lebron Cavs. Still not bad though, Lowry is only a minor upgrade from _____ ________.  ;)
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I had curry pegged as a 4th rounder, great talent but e injuries scare me.  First to second round talent though. And if he is going to be healthy for training camp that's a good way to start things off

I've got him pegged as early 3rd for the same reasons you mentioned.  Those ankles really worry me.

With Lebron, you don't need upside, I think a sure thing would have been the better move and there were some sure things still available.  But I could see how going with the "sure thing" approach around Lebron could be a little boring.

Curry is a sure thing.  He's had two healthy seasons, and one where he had an ankle injury that he kept coming back from too soon because the kid is ultra-competitive (kind of like several of the GMs in here).

Eric Gordon is an injury risk (20+ games missed in each of the last three years).  Andrew Bynum is an injury risk (one healthy season, ever.)  Curry just had one injury-marred season.

Sure thing/glass ankles
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Trade I couldn't confirm until now, sorry guys!

DET trades Anderson Varejao, 6.3, 6.21, 10.3
DAL trades Danny Granger, 7.5, 8.1, 12.1

Varejao
Lebron / Brand
Green
? / Gordon
Lowry

And yes, we're taking Jeff Green at 6.1.

For all my CB Draft peeps:  Jeff Green has the potential to be the second best player in the league.  ;D

Went to this thread looking for some material to use for picking Green, didn;t find much. Love that Roy/Edgar end up with him  ;D

I thought the same thing! Dallas in the CB Draft is very similar from a personnel standpoint to those Cleveland Cavalier teams from 2008-2010.
