As Lucky stated, we wanted to build a stronger core 4 and we believe we have an excellent 4 man group with Paul, Nene, Granger and Matthews. Plus more to come.
I don't think it's a steal. I think it works well for both teams.I definitely don't see it as a step back for us, though.
while i like the picks DAL got, IMO Granger is simply the better player and Varejao has only played in 38% of the games over the past 2 seasons b/c of various injuries.
