By the way, I'd like to take back everything I said about Pierce's selection in the first round being a bad one.
My opinion on him being drafted too high was based on the idea of him being the #1 option on the team and his supporting cast being drafted in the 2nd, 3rd rounds etc. I didn't think he could carry that kind of team and there were better players available for that kind of role. Now that I see that he's paired with another top player in Pau, I think that Pierce was a fantastic selection there and probably one of the best players on the board to pick right there. Great pick, Utah!
