Overall, it looks even enough.  In terms of draft position, though, I would have expected Indiana to do better for moving down nine spots in teh first round; that's historically been worth more than just moving up a few slots in later rounds.

Typically, yes (EDIT: and it was 6 slots).  But we weren't particularly thrilled with anybody picked in that 10-17 range more than anybody else drafted there.  I don't feel like there were any glamorous picks taken 10-14.  So, we took the last guy before we saw a drop off in talent that way we could upgrade our #2 and #3 guys.

5th Trade:
Thunder trades: 3.18 7.18 8.7
Jazz Trades: 4.20 5.5 6.15

The Jazz were busy. Did they really turn a 4th and a 5th into Pierce and an 8th? Or did I miss a pick or two?

As did I Roy, as did I.

I think  w/ 24 teams people were that much more reluctant, as I didn't get all that many offers for the 11th pick.

As Action pointed out, didn't see a big difference between a lot of those guys, so we weren't going to pick just for the sake of it. Didn't get the value I would've thought we would, but wasn't going to force it.

----

It was really kinda two trades, Jazz traded started it and then at 15 me and action couldn't decide between z-bo and lma, lucky pm'd me so we made the stipulation that he couldn't select either (guaranteeing us Z-Bo or LMA).

I think you missed some picks; I think they're down a 2nd, 4th, and 8th, which is pretty good value for an extra #1.

You're right I didn't count the 2nd but the team isn't down an eighth.

1.15, 2.10, 3.10, 4.15, 5.10, 6.15, 7.10, 8.15 Jazz had?
1.11, 1.20, 3.18, 5.10, 6.20, 7.18, 8.7, 8.15 Jazz has?

So every thing else being relatively equal

Pierce and 8.15 for 2.10 and 4.15?

That about right

The draft board should be updated to the trades. If I messed it up, and you don't catch it cuz you didn't look, don't complain, cuz I ain't listenin.
