Not giving the elite title to Steve Nash, Who?
Blasphemy.

I detect a hint of sarcasm there. Why don't you read this:

No sarcasm.  He's the 50-40-90 king.

It was a different era though, kg of two years ago, Artest before he went to the lakers.  Things were better back then, it was a simpler time.

I'm just happy that I called Ersan Ilyasova's breakout season.

I don't think KG 1 year younger makes up for my slightly better PG and way better SG.  Plus I thought we were building for the upcoming year, so Artest was a Laker and 10-11 KG owns 09-10 KG.

Well we were, but people thought KG would bounce back to 07-08 KG and he didnt, and Artest had a good year going into that year, Camby was significantly better than ben wallace, and (trying to hold back laughter) Big Z and Hakim Warrick were key pieces off the bench for me.

And Garcia was a 13ppg scorer who shot %40 from 3 the year prior, and then he got hurt.

I'm happy I haven't been incessantly teased for winning the CB Draft while having a team that almost unanimously underperformed. That won't hurt my chances this year, right fellas?! FELLAS?!

Im happy my core of Dirk and Jason Kidd got comments like, "Your too much like the real life mavericks, you'll never go anywhere with that."

The team also had

CJ Miles, Nick Young, Gortat, Bogans and Jarret Jack, who all had very good years

Meanwhile Rip and Maggette Dissapointed

Haha, people thought the opposite about my KG.  They thought he was done and he ended up bouncing back way more than I would've guessed.  I'd consider Wallace and Camby pretty darn close to wash.

And Jason Richardson was a 16ppg scorer who shot 40% from 3, and was a better rebounder, and would've dunked all over Garcia, and didn't get hurt.

When did this turn into a past CB draft discussion.

To support what mgmt said way back, Oscar leading the fast break with Drexler and Dr. J on the wings would be lethal. Did Dr. J ever have a passer of that quality? I say no.

I don't think anyone was disputing that mgent didn't have an excellent run n gun team - they are VERY good - the debate was if my team would be better in transition.

Some fun things to consider:

1. A Kareem/KG tandem defensively. Think how good Duncan and Robinson were. I say Kareem/KG would be better.

2. Pete Maravich as a 3pt shooter. I think he'd be fantastic. Don't forget many of his shots were long range anyhow and the one season they had the 3pt line, he shot 10/15.

Best bench players by position?

C - Dave Cowens
PF - undecided (Kemp? B.Jones? S.Haywood -- didn't see any games of his while in his prime)
SF - Tracy McGrady
SG - Dave Thompson
PG - undecided (I like big guards so leaning towards B-Roy or Penny)

The talent at small forward is pretty amazing -- McGrady, Grant Hill, Bernard King, Carmelo Anthony, Dennis Rodman, Billy Cunningham ... M.Aguirre, A.English.

Small forward and the center position seem to have the most depth in talent off the bench.
