I don't want Howard in Boston because I don't enjoy watching him play. That goes for his demeanor too.  He's a hothead who throws elbows and gets down too easily.  I can't see him as a Celtic, great stats aside.

Lol, some people will say he smiles too much, and doesn't let things bother him when it would bother any all-time great, and then there's what you said. I understand opinions differing but those are two opposite extremes as far as personality goes...I doubt both sides can be right.

IMO, I think Howard is more of what you say, although I don't think he ever really lets himself get down, let alone easily. Still, hot headed and throws elbows? Sounds a lot like some center who was just traded to the Thunder at the trade deadline...and I'm not talking about Krstic.  ;)

Whether you like him or not, I don't see why he couldn't play like a Celtic.

If we got him I'd root as hard for him as I do anyone else....learn to love him, etc...
And I think he seems like a great guy off the court (smiling, happy etc...)

But on the court he gets a lot of techs, gets frustrated, smiles to express dismay at calls (many players do this) when I'd rather have a Perk scowl....raises elbows that dwarf the size of Perk's.

He's an emotional guy but not in the way I like....he's more about emotional swings it seems..I like players who's demeanors are either stoic (Rondo) or insane (Garnett) or nasty (Perk) or the hard worker type who occasionally lets loose a scream (Powe).

I think San Antonio will win this series, but boy Marc and Zach are going to make it tough for them..Marc's going to work already.

Why is Ginobili sitting out? Is he injured?

Yeah he hyper-extended his elbow in the last game of the regular season...he'll be out today and I think he'll play next game.

Add Marc Gasol to my wish list of Bigs I'd love to see in Boston in the future...that guy is HUGE..stays healthy..is young and has a very good game all around.

I'm placing him right behind Dwight.

Dwight-Gasol-Big Al-DeAndre-KLove.

Danke. Spurs aren't going anywhere without him...good to know that he'll be back next game.

If Boston lets Glen Davis go after this season, I hope we could somehow get Dejuan Blair.

If we must have any other undersized PFs, I'd love to have that guy. He just moves people...he takes up space. He reminds me of a larger, taller Mark Aquire...that guy was only 6'4" and was tough as nails down low.

Guys, we must hope that the Spurs win, because they're the only team in the West who would have HCA over the Lakers.
