The Spurs really need Ginobili . . . they aren't anywhere close to a 1-seed caliber team without him.  Timmy Dunks and Tony are great, but Manu is the Spurs' MVP.

That said, this was a great game.

And Battier with a 3...what a great game. Memphis is legit. I wish Rudy Gay was healthy.

+1. Much respect for Memphis.

Even if it is only one game.  :P

Spurs will go for a 3, I think.

Strange free throw numbers for the Spurs.

They only took 69 field goal attempts yet ended up with 47 free throws. Heck, 14 of those 69 shot attempts were three pointers so it was really 47 FTAs / 55 FGAs. Crazy.

And Tony Parker plus George Hill have accounted for 29 of those 47 FTAs. Crazy numbers.

Wow, Grizzlies with their first playoff win ever.  Bet they're feeling pretty good about tanking against the Clips now, huh?

Great win for Memphis. They'll be glad those 4 missed FTs didn't come back to hurt them.

Yep, Manu Ginobili has been San Antonio's best player all season long.

Take him away from the side and they are 5th/6th seed type ball club.

If they were a fifth or sixth seed, then they wouldn't have to play Memphis.  ;D

I still have the Spurs winning this series in 6, unless Manu doesn't come back, or comes back hobbled.  In that case I'd say it'll go 7, and the Grizzlies have a small chance of winning it.

I think the Spurs have too much pride, talent, and experience to lose 4 times to the Grizz, though.

Seems like all the higher seeds are getting off to slow starts in these games.  I guess it makes sense.  Hopefully the Celtics don't fall into that trap.  They aren't very good at coming back from deficits.

That said, there's no way the Hornets will a game in this series.  They are just too small and they have no bench to speak of.  The Lakers may start slow but they'll put the Hornets away easily in 4.

Ginobili is the Spurs MVP

This the exact reason why I always say KG is underrated, and Duncan is overrated.

Duncan is a great player, no doubt. Hall of Famer. But Ginobili has been their best player. David Robinson and him were the main reason for those titles
