So Shaq was going to miss 2-3 games and his foot is still bothering him and it has been six weeks since he played in a real game. But don't worry, Danny is confident that Shaq is going to be just fine.
And JO was going to rest for 4-5 weeks, because that is what his knee required and then he was going to come back and play with no restrictions -- that is what Dannny says. Oh wait, three weeks later, JO needs surgery and that is going to cure all ills. And again, since Danny says JO is going to be ready to contribute by the playoffs, I am sure it is true.
This season is going to go up in smoke on the backs of two big guys who are not going to be healthy. So, what does Danny do, he adds offense. Maybe he hopes to outscore teams all the way to championship 18.
Not sure if Perk would have gotten healthy, but at least it gave them a third option and a guy who could clog the middle.
Well, we really know very little about all the injuries.
We have guys who can simply clog the middle in BBD, Krstic and Murphy.
I assume these injuries will have no real impact on Shaq in the playoffs, but he is obviously easily susceptible to injuries, so they will need to baby him. Fortunately, the playoffs schedule is well suited for getting the big guy rest.
JO is the huge question mark here because of his all-around game. If he returns relatively healthy, I honestly don't believe we will miss Perk all that much (on the court).
