"He's a very mean guy," Noah said Wednesday. "Where's the love? None at all. Ugly, too."

Quote
"I had his poster in my room," Noah said. "I used to wear his jersey. And the truth is my rookie year, I was in admiration of this guy, and he kind of shut me down.

"And he was very mean to me my rookie year. And he's only mean to the young guys and the [European players], for some reason. I don't know why, but that's who he doesn't like. He's not nice. I talk a lot of trash out there, but c'mon, be a little sensitive. Be sweet."

He's calling KG "ugly"?

Has the guy looked in the mirror?

Garnett wont do anything about it.

He's not a guy you have beer with and are like "tally ho chap. Let's discuss our lives and talk about our feelings. Maybe shake hands"

KG hates you and all your seed forever. Let it go Noah

Naw I dont know about that.  I really do think KG is the man.

Me and my friends have a way of judging whether we like the personality of an athlete/celeb:  Would you go to six flags with that person?

The winner is obviously Shaq (with Will Ferrell coming a close second).

But the answer to KG is YES.  I would TOTALLY go to 6 flags with KG.

I honestly do think KG is a kind, friendly, charming person.  When he steps onto the bball court he turns his swag on and becomes a certified G and genuinely doesn't know any other way to be.
When I'm in the gym...I like to grunt when  I get my swell on... That way everyone can see how jacked and tan I am.

Noah shouldn't call anybody ugly. Quasimodo thinks Noah is ugly.

Obviously we as fans of the Celtics like KG. I am pretty sure he was talking about players around the NBA.

I have no idea what Noah is like in life or as a teammate but he's sorta starting to strike me as one of those guys at the Y that's like "Cmon guys. Let's just have fun" that you want to punch in the mouth and hate even more than the guy you got a problem with.

Met KG my freshman year of college.  Very likeable guy.  However, if your his basketball opponent I'm sure you hate him, and works to make sure that's the case.  Unless you knew him personally beforehand, and obviously Joakim Noah didn't.  His feelings are only hurt because he looks or looked up to him so he takes it personal.

Well I personally liked KG even before he came here. I knew he could ball, was a team player, and fierce competitor. I definitely respected him. I even shelled out like $150 for his jersey (still got it too).

I don't believe there is any other player (except for Pierce) I've seen play in the last 15 years that I am more grateful to have been able to watch than KG. Regardless of how he acts on the court or what he says in the middle of a game, he has tremendous respect for the game and it's history.

Noah won't have 1/4 the career KG already has, he will never be in the same class as him, so I could care less what he thinks of him. Would anyone care what Elvis Andrus thought of Derek Jeter?

Shocking.

This reminds me of how a kid on my team "hates" me because I don't throw it to his stone hands on the fast break. Sorry, bud, I know you were open, but I threw it to Darius because he's about 3x as athletic as you. Since he finished my oop with an and-1 dunk, I'm having a hard time feeling like I made the wrong decision.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.
