I only see one downfall to this trade:  An increased roster size of quality + Doc = problems.  Doc coaches best when he has 6 healthy players who are clearly the best 6.

However, that would definitely not prevent me from completing this trade!  I am wishing it comes to fruition.

Last part of the deal is send Doc Orlando and Hire Me as coach

didnt I told you I am traveling Boston AND Washington this march

Casualidad???
Once a CrotorNat always a CROTORNAT  2 times CB draft Champion 2009-2012

Nice to be back!

Except the extra pieces are much better then what Doc usually has off the bench.

Plus, imagine the energy those two will bring moving from the mess they have been in to the chance of winning in Boston.  New hunger from high quality players.

As far as this year goes I would caution that you can't throw a bunch of guys who haven't played with each other together, have very little practice time, and expect them to beat top level NBA teams.  I don't care how much talent you have.

NBA defenses are too good right now.

Don't get caught up in the Dan Snyder syndrome.  I would seriously doubt that this type of team wins it all this year.

But next year with a full pre season under their belt...that's completely different.

Completely different situation and all the players are vets.  If they could be relatively healthy it would be the C's and Cleveland.  With the C's having all the talent minus the best player in the league.

This dream is too good to be true.  I just don't see it happening.  Of course I'm rooting for it...but this is waaaaay too good to be true.

Man, this is nuts. I really won't believe it until I see it. Surely other moves will happen after this, if it does happen.

I think that if this deal gets done, Danny ships Big Baby to Charlotte to get Augustin.
Exactly what I was thinking.  Man, if all this happens it'll be like Christmas in February.

Want a real Xmas? Baby and Giddens for Augustin. Ray, Scal, Tony and Eddie for Butler, Jamison and Miller. Throw in a first.PGs are Rondo and DJ. Wings are Paul/Butler/Miller with Daniels as a 4th. Bigs are Perk/KG/Jamison/Sheed/Shelden.

Daniels>Miller anyday.

But we'd have them both. Miller would play over Daniels when you wanted to spread the floor more.

Detroit adds Wallace at the deadline.  Win the title.

LA adds Gasol during the season.  Make it to the NBA final.

I am sure there are a ton more examples.

Honestly, this seems too good to be true.  Houston can offer up TMac plus a good prospect too.  Wonder if Washington floated this rumor to up the ante for their guys.

True, but it's likely we'd only be replacing one starter.

We're giving up Scal... seriously, some people don't think. Superior offer out there, there's none.

About 4 million dollars that T-Mac is owed vs. Ray and JR.

That equals a lot of money this year.

If the Celtics pull this off I'll be very impressed. And Ray should get a buyout and come back. Because I'd hate to see him on one of the worst teams in the East and because if we upgrade this team so much might as well go for broke and amass all the weapons we can for the playoffs.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Scal is the youth they will build around.  Washington loves his 'pump fake 3 pass' move.

Plus Ray is more likely to be inclined to take a buyout.
