i like it...sheldon cam get minutes and boston gets a #2 PG that is young....then you go out and move ray allen for a young 2 and something else

I wouldn't trade frontcourt depth for a backup pg. Rondo's probably going to play 40 a game in the playoffs.

Usually I'd agree with you, but with Perk, KG, and Wallace all putting up 30+ mpg in the playoffs, there isn't going to be much room for BBD either.  And is it really a downgrade to play Williams or Scal the odd 5 mpg that BBD would've played?

What if KG gets hurt?

I'm fine with it depending on the other pieces involved.

He's not happy in Boston and we could use a backup PG. Plus Shelden is perfectly adequete for a fourth big man.

doc will shorten his minutes in the playoffs...i would like to know how this move would impact moving ray allen....it could actually save ray allen because it would allow him to rest while daniels/tony/house play and they don't have to play PG..baby..IMO is a main problem with the chemistry on this team. pus his antics and his conditioning are garbage. if it is baby and giddens...see ya

We're not winning the title if KG is hurt.

The difference between BBD/Shelden isn't big enough to mean much even in a playoff series. (We'd still have two defenders to matchup with Howard)

i think there is a ZERO percent chance of the bobcats doing it.. felton is as good as gone after this year and augustin is going to become the starter..

Two mitigating factors:

1. The Bobcats GM is playing golf somewhere

2. The Bobcats coach has no such vision - if he has buried Augustin, he has buried him.

The trick is how to make numbers match.  Giddens would work.  Actually swapping Rasheed and Diop would work - I'm not advocating that because Diop is so one dimensional. (one of the best defensive centers in the league, but he makes Kendrick Perkins seem like Hakeem Olajuwon on offense)

The deal would need to be Baby and Giddens for Augustin and Graham, in order for it to work under BYC rules.

Simmons' tweet is confusing me:

Baby + Giddens for Augustin + Graham. Done. Call it in. Good deal for both teams. I like Augustin. http://tinyurl.com/ylenfc3 15 minutes ago from web

Is he saying it's a done deal or that that is what the deal should be?

BTW that last deal isn't done, I just like it. What about this 4-teamer? Who says no? Probably Boston...

get boston another wing in graham that could contribute more than giddens ever will...solves the #2 PG issue...
