Watched the Heavyweights, on recommendation of a now defunct YouTube channel.

It was good in a very 'does what it says on the tin' kinda way. Good showing from Ben Stiller and Kenan Thompson in a support role.

For any Marvel fans here, is it worth watching the latest Captain America? Or for that matter the last few Marvel movies, going back to Black Panther 2?

I used to be a huge Marvel fan back in the day, going back to reading the comics as a kid...I watched every movie when they would come out every year or two, from the first Iron Man to the Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton, Thor, Captain America, the Avengers, all the way to Guardians of the Galaxy 3. I felt like I was keeping up pretty well until Avengers Endgame, even though they started releasing all the TV content and I started missing some of them. Then this latest Phase whatever-it-is started getting really confusing, with all the time travel and alternate realities and feeling like you had to watch the TV series to get the movies (e.g. Loki for Kang, WandaVision - which I liked - for Doctor Strange, and so on). Since then I've missed Black Panther II, The Marvels, Deadpool and Wolverine, and Captain America Brave New World, because I feel like I have to watch some precursor stuff to enjoy those movies or even understand what's going on.

I highlighted here which IPs I've managed to watch and where I started to fall away.

Any of you guys soldiered through and managed to watch every single one? I've given up being able to watch the TV series, but will I be able to enjoy the movies as standalones or do I have to watch everything from at least the last few years in order to get it?
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

I just say through the last two live action Transformers movies ?cuz the kid wanted to. I recognize these movies made a bundle but omg it was tough. A bunch of metal smashing together, silly one liners and these movies are loooong. 2 and 1/2 and 2 hrs and 45 mins long.

My son dragged me to Minecraft.  I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it.  I was happy for all of the kids, who seemed to love it.  The theater was crowded, and the audience gave it two ovations.

"Sinners." It takes a while to get going, but once it does...WOW.

It just checks so many boxes. If you like period dramas, vampire flicks, thrillers, or just original horror movies in general, you'll love it.

I think IMDB has it at a 8.2 - i'd say that's right on the money.

I saw Thunderbolts. I really don?t like Marvel movies but I went with a group. I find the humor cringey and unfunny. I liked this one maybe the most of all the ones I?ve seen. They kept the cringey humor to a minimum except for one late scene . I?d see a sequel with this group of characters. The David Harold cyaraxter is just too much for me .

I love comic book movies, so I went last night to see Thunderbolts*. It was promoted as the MCU's version of the Suicide Squad. That couldn't be further from the truth. DC's version was fun and you cared about the characters. The Thunderbolts was lifeless, boring, depressing, and I didn't care about the characters. As far as humor, I heard a few chuckles in the theater. I seriously don't know what movie the critics reviewed and gave such high praise to.

saw Thunderbolts this afternoon.  I thought it was good.  Left me more excited about seeing the Fantastic Four and how Marvel's tying the phase 5 movies together

I watched Mickey 17 last night.  I thought it was really disappointing.

As did I. Overly convoluted with cringe political satire. Its only saving grace was Robert Pattinsons acting.
