Im not gonna bother throwing fuel into the fire of all this. All I'm gonna say is that you cant deny that the guy was a great QB for a long time. Like someone said earlier, just two years ago, he led the Pack to a 13-3 season. I dont care how weak the NFC was that year, 13-3 in the NFL is still a GREAT job. That being said, I hate the guy, I HATE HIM. I hated him before all this retired unretired bullcrap, and now it's made me hate him more.
So I guess to simplify this thread and help keep it from getting WAY off base, I'll throw out my top 4 reasons WHY I HATE HATE HATE Brett Favre.
1. For the longest time i HATED how he was crowned 'The Toughest Player in Football.' I Witnessed with my own eyes, Favre crying after Lavar Arrington hit him. Needless to say that I would cry like a 7 year old girl if Lavar back his prime nailed me, but then again, Im not the toughest player in football.
2. Laying down for Strahan, enough said.
3. He has a chance to make a comeback drive against the Eagles in the NFC championship to game to once again keep the Eagles out of the Superbowl. Hugh Dougles comes at Favre on a pass rush. Instead of just taking the sack and calling timeout, Favre heaves the ball up in the air so he wont get hit and throws a game ending INT.....which again brings me back tot he toughest player in football garbage.
4. His stupid last name should be spelled Farve, not Favre. To quote Will Ferrell from Zoolander, "Doesnt anybody realize this, I feel like Im taking crazy pills!!"
So yeah, I hate the guy, but again. I wont let my hatred blind me from the fact that for some time he was a Great QB...definetly not the toughest though
