I agree. At least he was smart enough to stay out of our division.

I hope they trade Amare for a bag of basketballs, then the Suns win like 20 games.

I don't know what the suns are doing. They're stuck between wishing they were contenders and rebuilding. The worst teams are the ones that don't want to blow it all up (look at milwaukee!). Keep the young players and start fresh.

So while he has made it, the only thing left for him is to win a ring which he has failed to do in his close to 17 year career, and what he is supposed to be working for his whole life.

Winning a championship isn't necessarily what Hill, or any other athlete, has been working for his whole life.  Maybe making the most money possible is what's important.  It's what's important in almost any other profession.

Grant Hill ain't coming here, it's too cold, he is a warm weather guy. Sounds too simple, just remember that I said it.
Is this Gary Tanguay?

No, it's clearly Gary Tanguay's half brother, Emilio Esteves.

HAHA TP for that. I certainly don't blame anybody for being skeptical about my post. I wouldn't take it seriously either if someone else had posted it. But I have said this a couple times in various threads, but I have a small business relationship with Grant Hill. I know him a little bit, and I know his family a bit better. He is a stern family man, his family is happy where they are, and they are inclined to stay. As others have said, Tamia has sacrificed her career to raise their kids, and is enticed by the glitz and glamour of NYC. Plus, they offer the most money. Grant, I'm sure is intrigued by playing for the Celtics and having a chance at a ring, but I doubt that he is intrigued enough to come here, and uproot his family. He is a warm weather guy, and didn't like playing in Detroit all that much. Again, hopefully I am wrong, and he changes his mind. But in my past dealings with him, he was not all that interested in coming to play here.

So, take it for what its worth, I certainly don't blame anyone for not buying what I'm selling.  8)

I was just playing.  I can't help myself when I see Emilio Esteves.  And anyway, you were absolutely right.  Hill didn't come here.  That's one TP for you my friend (even if you are Gary Tanguay's evil half brother.)

I don't think it was money. I think it was mostly family that ultimately decided it. He could have gotten more money in NY. I don't think 1 or 2 million means a whole lot in the grand scheme of things for Grant Hill. Also, I don't think winning means a whole lot either to him. And I couldn't help notice your name was rondofan... you may be in for a rude awakening about the whole caring to get paid more than anything else scenario.

There isn't enough tissues in the world for all of the whiners in this thread.

Boohoo, he isn't a ring chaser. Good for him.
