According to Hoopsworld's Bill Ingram the Boston Celtics are talking to the Sacramento Kings about SF-Ron Artest. Word is that Danny Ainge offered James Posey before "Pose" accepted the Hornets offer.http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=9502
Why are posters calling for Kurt Thomas? Danny has said he is hes done signing big men. Also, Thomas looked washed up last year in the play offs for San Antonio. He was a non factor out there on the court. At this point in his career both Powe and Davis are more effective than Thomas.

When did he say that?Thomas looked fine as a backup C for SA. Plays good defense. Can hit an open jumper. In the conference finals Thomas averaged 3.8 ppg and 1.8 rpg. I remember watching that series and thinking "Wow Thomas is just about done. It was not completely about match ups and playing time either. Thomas looked apathetic and lost. The whole Thomas is a good defender is blown way out of proportion, I honestly can not tell you how many times I was watching the play offs and saw players just blow right by his ancient feet. Please, just say no to Kurt Thomas. This guy is not getting any younger. Why else do you think SA is trying to resign him?
