10-14 point deficit at the half would leave us in striking distance in the 2nd half.

Know how everyone says Garnett isn't a conventional superstar because he rarely dominates offensively in big games like a Michael or Kobe type?  But we all secretly believed "he could if he had to"?
I'd change the sentiment from "he could if he had to" into "he could if he wanted to"

In my opinion, the real question we have to be asking about now is will the Celtics beat the Lakers again in this series?

Because of this 1 game? I am taking it for what it is--one really bad game. I am not losing faith already based on one game.

Before the series started I picked the Lakers in six.  But, I thought they would take two in Boston and we would take 1 in LA.  So, if I stick to my pick, the Celtics will not win another game.  Plus, the Kobe on Rondo move has changed the whole series and Doc has no clue what to do.

Picking the other team to win the series, how nice.

Nora -- I have been a Celtics fan for more than 40 years.  I have season tickets.  But, after seeing how the Lakers got through their first three series and what it took for the C's to get through their's, my head said the Lakers were going to win.  Sorry I am not a homer, but that is what I believe.

point guard play, point guard play .. no one is setting the tone. Cassell is garbage and is still a me-first type player. and this is why rondo will never be on an elite level, he is inconsistent. He can have 16 assists one night , then the next night 6 turnovers and 1 assist.

and this game is over, look at the body language. We all learned we cant come back when down by 20, on the road at that!

Rondo is a second year PG playing in the finals... let's not try to make career defining statements based on an inconsistent jumpshot.  He's going to be one of the all-time greats.

"all=time greats"?  I think you might be going a little overboard on Mr. Rondo.

Like everything else on here, it's just an opinion... but in his 2nd year Rondo can already do many things that no other player can, or can't nearly as well.  He has 1 flaw -- inconsistent jumpshot, which can easily be cured (and he has improved greatly with over the course of the year).  As he matures, his decision making will as well.  He already does all the little things.... it's all just a learning curve from here on out.

Well, it's now or never big guy...
Good point.  Let's hope he got his rest last night.

Come on, that's a pretty weak statement. Anyone who believes KG doesn't want it is out of their mind. He wants it. He just doesn't know how to get it right now. And, sorry for the cliched ref-bashing, but it is impossible for him to bring it to the hoop when he gets hacked with no whistle 90% of the time.

Celtics have done a great job on this 12-2 run over the past 2:44 minutes. Finish the half well and they'll be in a solid position after their lousy start

There is no way anyone should be blaming what happened in the first half on the refs.  You gotts give that crap a rest.
