Celtics have done a great job on this 12-2 run over the past 2:44 minutes. Finish the half well and they'll be in a solid position after their lousy start

Agreed.  This is slowly turning into a ballgame.

Not blaming per se. The Celtics started like crap and they hold most of the blame, it is clear. But the refs have been awful. Completely awful.

This last minute will make or break this game.

Know how everyone says Garnett isn't a conventional superstar because he rarely dominates offensively in big games like a Michael or Kobe type?  But we all secretly believed "he could if he had to"?
I'd change the sentiment from "he could if he had to" into "he could if he wanted to"

Come on, that's a pretty weak statement. Anyone who believes KG doesn't want it is out of their mind. He wants it. He just doesn't know how to get it right now. And, sorry for the cliched ref-bashing, but it is impossible for him to bring it to the hoop when he gets hacked with no whistle 90% of the time.

The NBA has spoken. Lakers win.
It's not an issue of skill. It's mental like it is with Rasheed Wallace and several other players.

There is no way anyone should be blaming what happened in the first half on the refs.  You gotts give that crap a rest.

sorry, im not blaming it on the refs, lets make that clear, we are playing like absolute doo-doo and we deserve to be down.

but, your not going to tell me that the little 6-0 foul run in the first 4 minutes that included 3 on perk and 2 on KG for playing defense had nothing to do with it.

that dog wont hunt mon senior- Philip James Fry.

In my opinion, the real question we have to be asking about now is will the Celtics beat the Lakers again in this series?

Because of this 1 game? I am taking it for what it is--one really bad game. I am not losing faith already based on one game.

Before the series started I picked the Lakers in six.  But, I thought they would take two in Boston and we would take 1 in LA.  So, if I stick to my pick, the Celtics will not win another game.  Plus, the Kobe on Rondo move has changed the whole series and Doc has no clue what to do.

If you have that little faith in the C's in this series why don't you just change your colors to purple & gold. I do believe you said before we'd never make it out the East.

I'm getting real sick of those little smarmy looks Kobe gives everytime a foul is called on him.  I wish that, just once, a ref would walk over to him and give him an open hand slap across the face.

And yes, there is a direct correlation between the score and the amount of violence wishes in my posts.

NO way we complain about the officials.  C'mon we just got demolished in that first half, we didn't even give the refs a chance to become a story in the game.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I agree that we can't blame anything on the refs... but they have managed to kill any and all runs that we've made tonight.

Well that ending sums it up.  Embarrassingly bad defense, a nice little run, but 18 is quite a lot to come back from.

see above post- 6-0 foul run in 4 minutes that sent our two best interior players to the bench.

celts play like you know what= 80% of this debacle, no question.

but get out of here with the "refs didn't get to be a storyline this time"
