"if they're going to score every time down it's going to be hard for us to get into our RUNNING Game..." - Doc Rivers

What?  What "running game" is he talking about?  they haven't run all season long...he's the "spin doctor" if he believes his team has any semblance of a running game.

I'm at a loss for words.  I don't think Doc will do it, but someone in that huddle needs to get on everybody and say how the Celtics just embarrassed themselves and the franchise by that quarter.  Maybe that will fire at least one guy up and the Celtics will get their heads in this game.

This is awful.

The Lakers can't miss. A lot of it is due to our defense. We gotta get some stops in the 2nd quarter and cut to the lead.

It's not going to end folks.  This team seems to have already quit tonight.

If Eddie House cannot hit wide, wide, wide open shots, he needs to get off the court.
Eddie has shot poorly all postseason but I don't expect it to continue. He only needs to make one then he'll be locked in. He should continue.

Is that Sam Cassell that's in now? Three point guards in one game, oh my, oh my, oh my.

The Celts should simply forfeit this game.  This is horrendous.  What an embarrassment.  Not one player came to freaking play.  This literally makes me sick.

I unfortunately agree.  If they can't get this down to 10 by the half, they really do need to forfeit.  They'll get much more out of this game by walking out, getting rest, and really think about what the hell they just put themselves through.

I thought you weren't watching anymore?
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Antoine Walker could really come in handy for a situation like this.  ;D

This is exactly like Game 3 of the 84 Series when we were on the road and the Lakers were literally running and dunking all over us.

Only, this time we don't have a Larry Bird to verbally embarrass his teammates to motivate them.  We have Ubuntu.

"We played like a bunch of sissies.  We've got some great players on this team, but we don't have the players with the heart sometimes that we need. And today, when you see Magic slapping high-fives and his guys throwing behind-the-back passes and shooting lay-ups on us all day long, it seems that someone would try to play stop on defense and, until we get our hearts where they belong, well, we're in trouble."

Paul Pierce sucks all of a sudden.  Pretty disappointing return to L.A. so far.

This is the wrost combo of terrable basketball and no calls on an away team ive ever seen.

We are playing an abortion of a basketball game, and the lakers are getting the calls. this is not a good combo.

The Lakers have an open path to the hoop on literally every possession.  They're not moving their feet, and they're not rotating.  When we lose this game by 40, I don't want to hear any griping about the refs.

Don't give up.  The C's scored 1 point in the first 3 minutes of the second quarter.  How can any team play this poorly?  Any team?

Ariza's beating everyone to the ball.  We look old right now.

Could these announcers be any more excited about the Lakers?  I am getting sick of it.
