literally every minor touch foul by Minn is a foul.   Every grab and pull from LA isn't a foul.

Minny letting their frustrations get the better of them. They are unraveling.

Need to keep composure. LAL won't keep hitting shots at this rate. Just weather the storm and stay within distance to make a comeback. They are not doing that. They are letting their negative emotions control them. Digging a bigger hole.

Lakers need to finish strong here. Keep it at 20pts.

Don't want to let up and allow Minny to cut it to 12-15pts entering the half.

What a pass along the baseline by LeBron to Rui Hachimura. Mid shooting, fires the pass along the baseline hitting the cutting Rui from the opposite corner just beating NAW who was trying to intercept it.

I am surprised Jaxson Hayes never checked back in. He did well in Q1 but they did not go back to him.

I thought Hachimura struggled some when he checked back after taking that hit to his nose. Looked like he started to settle down late in the period though.

The commentators mentioned that Jaden McDaniels was originally a Lakers 1st round pick. I did know that. He was part of the draft day trade that saw LAL trade Danny Green to OKC for Dennis Schroder after they won the Bubble Title. J McDaniels was the 28th pick.

Then he was part of another trade 2 days later. 3 team deal OKC sent J McDaniels & Ricky Rubio to Minny. Minny sent James Johnson, Lessort and a 2nd round pick to NYC. They also sent Poku to OKC. NY gave Minny a 1st and took some guy I never heard of. While OKC sent Quickley to NYC. Quickley was the 25th pick.

Wow, two late first round steals. Quickley and Jaden McDaniels. One an OKC pick, the other a Lakers pick. Both ended up elsewhere.

What an overrated player Gobert is

Dude, they have Jaxson Hayes and no center. How are you not able to produce??

Lakers have done a good job negating Gobert's impact.

* Main strength is his interior defense but he can't do that if he is out on the three point line defending Rui or switching onto the Lakers ball-handlers.

* 2nd strength is his rebounding but he can't control the backboards when he is out at the three point line defending Rui or Lakers ball-handlers.

Gobert is playing good defense. He is doing a good job. LAL just aren't allowing him to play to his strengths.

This is the main reason Jaxson Hayes is playing so little. It is to stop Gobert from being able to camp out in the paint and screw up the Lakers offense.

It is a shame he doesn't have enough of an offensive game to exploit mismatches. He showed some of that a few years ago but then his teams stopped going to him. I'd like to see it more when guards are on him.

Gotta give Lakers forwards credit too for keeping Gobert off the offensive glass. Rui, LeBron, Luka, DFS; they are all doing a great job of containing Gobert's rebounding. Lakers got a lot of big muscular forwards. They are strong enough to compete with Gobert. LAL is not an undersized as their height listings (lack of center) make them seem. Big muscular forwards.
