Interesting note, through two games the C's are only averaging 106 ppg. But that's largely just becasue the games have been very slow, very low possession games. The C's offensive rating through two games is 120.5 which is the 3rd best of the 16 playoff teams.

I believe the Celtics and Magic were 29th and 30th in pace this year, so it is not surprising the games have so few possessions.

Generally speaking I think this pace favors the Celtics. If you have a good half court offense you are fine playing the game slowly becasue you'll still score alright. Its a little surprising that the Magic don't try to play faster given how hopeless they are in half court offensive.

Knicks/Pistons game getting chippy already.  :)

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I nearly forgot yesterday was a 7 PM start and today I actually did.

Did they change the times for playoff games this year? I feel like it was always around 7:30, 8, 9:30, 10 or 10:30 for games in the first few rounds. Very rarely a 7:00 start though besides those few NBA TV games. But some ESPN/TNT games have also started at 7, not 7:30 this year

Pistons and Knicks want to fight lol, but the difference is unlike Orlando it's actually just fierce competitiveness. Nothing dirty or with intent to injure

NY 27-10 run to finish before halftime. Brutal for DET, they were looking good before that

This is an offensive lineup for DET

G: Schroder
G: M Beasley
F: Cade
F: T Harris

Paul Reed at center. Those other 4 guys are their best offensive players. High octane offensive lineup to start Q4. More vulnerable defesively though with the small backcourt and undersized center. Be interesting to see if the gamble pays off.

Tobias Harris with the big bucket. I love seeing guys come up with a big basket late on after struggling most of the game. Sticking with it and getting it done.

The experience (NY) vs. lack of experience (DET) is showing in these moments
