Is there a playoff team that could feasibly add Sabonis and meaningfully benefit?

I wonder if Toronto could get him. Two ideas:

(1) RJ Barrett & J Poeltl for D Sabonis
(2) I Quickley & J Poeltl for D Sabonis & N Clifford

Poeltl gives them a replacement center. I wonder how comfortable Toronto are with a possible extension for RJ Barrett. If they would consider dealing him or not.

I imagine they would happily deal Quickley given his injury troubles since joining the team. Good when available but unavailable far too often. I am not sure SAC would have any interest though. 3 years left on his deal. Acuff as their incumbent PG. Z LaVine and M Monk at SG. No clear role for Quickley.

RJ Barrett is an okay but not great fit as well. They have Keegan Murray. They could start the two of them at forward but that would leave them undersized 1 through 4. They need a PF to play alongside Keegan Murray more than anything.

------------------

I wonder if Utah would trade Lauri Markkanen for D Sabonis. Try to rebalance their team. Markkanen is 29yo. Sabonis 30yo.

G: K George
G: D Peterson
F: A Bailey
F: J Jackson Jr
C: D Sabonis

Markkanen would give SAC the PF they have wanted for years to pair alongside Keegan Murray. Two strong shooting forwards. No center though. No interior defender for SAC. Lot of offense there with those two at forwards along with Acuff, LaVine, M Monk. Get a center alongside them and they would be a threat to make the playoffs again.

Cam Boozer feast or famine shooting wise first 3 games

Gm 1 = 2-15 FGA 3-4 FTA 7pts  13% FG
Gm 2 = 6-13 FGA 9-9 FTA 25pts
Gm 3 = 6-21 FGA 2-2 FTA 16pts 28% FG

His rebounding and passing have been steady. 11, 13, 11 rebounds in his 3 games. 5, 6, 4 assists. 11.7rpg and 5.0apg.

An update. This feast or famine FG% is continuing.

Gm 4 = 4-12 FGA 4-4 FTA 13pts

Then he goes on a 3 game hot streak. He shoots 19-35 FGA (54% FG) and 16-17 FTA for 63 points. 21pppg.

Boozer follows that up with a 2 game cold streak. 6-28 FGA (21% FG) and 4-4 FTA for 18pts. 9ppg.

His shooting is a puzzler.

Luka is now averaging 40pts/8rebs/8ast. If he can keep this pace, he will be the first player to average 40ppg since Wilt Chamberlain.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.
