Not a game that would convince you that Denver is a legit contender.

My ranking is still:

1. OKC
2. Cleveland
3. Boston
4. Denver
5. New York
5. LA Lakers
6. Memphis

Denver's had a great stretch, just a bad night it seems. No clue how Joker has only 5 shot attempts...

Most of Westbrook's shots have been airballs or not even close

I haven't seen much of Denver this year but is their bench basically just Westbrook? I know Strawther got in insane foul trouble earlier (4 fouls in 90 seconds lol) but it doesn't seem like the others are giving them much.

Yep.

G - Westbrook
G - Peyton Watson
F - Strawther
F - V Cancar, Z Nnaji
C - Saric, D Jordan

I believe the announcer said P Watson is injured. Not sure what happened with Saric. He played badly at the start of the season. Not sure if he is benched or injured. Either way, he didn't work out. I am surprised they don't play Cancar a bit more. He is injured now but he wasn't playing earlier in the season either.

Not much on that bench.

Maybe for the regular season.   :)

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Denver losing puts them at 37-20, so they fail to meet the 40-20 rule. For those who don't know the 40/20 rule is the idea that about 90% of eventual title winners will win 40 regular season games before they lose 20. Only OKC, CLE and BOS have hit the mark so far this season with MEM and NYK on the bubble (NYK plays BOS and MEM plays CLE, so both could be knocked out tomorrow).

The eventual NBA champ has won 40 before losing in 39 of the last 43 seasons. Only the 2021 Bucks, 2006 Heat, 2004 Pistons and 1995 Rockets defied the rule.

Its not a guarantee that you will win, because multiple teams will usually hit that mark in a season. But it is sort of a prerequisite.

Well, It Looks like Luka and LeBron are figuring out how to play with each other. Lakers put a beating on Denver at home, won by 23. Worst trade ever.

Not a game that would convince you that Denver is a legit contender.

Their winning streak was largely a strength of schedule issue more than a legitimate turnaround for them.

Rockets lose to the Jazz and fall to 5th place in the West. 3-7 over their last 10 games.

Looks like the Lakers got themselves a Nuggets-stopper in Luka now.

Luka's been the answer to OKC, to the Clippers, to the Wolves...now add Denver to that mix.

Don?t answer if you?ve seen this meme.  The Celtics have the league?s second longest streak of .500 seasons.  Who has the first?

I wouldn?t have got this with a bunch of guesses.
Yup

Havhimura end Reeveswerebenefitted nicely and hit their 3?s.  Lakers were very active with their hands in D too.  Denwer got very out of sorts.  Jokic was stumbling and fumbling.
