No Gobert. No Randle. That is a shame. Hard to see Minny being able to hang in there against this OKC team without those guys. They look overmatched in the paint. Naz Reid by himself against Hartenstein & Chet Holmgren.

These two teams played a few days ago and Minny won. Good game so far.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

That Ty Jerome kid for Cleveland is quite the weapon. Has a whole bunch of ridiculous floaters and in between shots to add to his 3 and his PG abilities.

Cavs look very dangerous. Drive and kick basketball with a lot of ball handlers, dangerous bigs and knockdown shooters.

Hope the 2 and 3 seed teams remain they are. Don't want any part of Milwaukee or Indy or Cleveland in the second round.

Hopefully the C's pull Miami in the first-round  ;D

Think the 1 and 2 seeds are locked in. Boston won't see the Cavs until the ECF.
3 should be the Knicks
4. Pacers or Bucks
5. Pacers or Bucks
6. Detroit

I really do not want the Magic as the 7 seed and who the Celtics draw in round one. I think the Magic could give both top seeds some issues if healthy...esp the Cavs.

Miami, Atlanta, Chicago would be my preferred first round match up.

Don?t answer if you?ve seen this meme.  The Celtics have the league?s second longest streak of .500 seasons.  Who has the first?

I wouldn?t have got this with a bunch of guesses.

Imma guess Pacers

Nope

Current streak or all-time?

Portland had a crazy streak of 20-something years during the Drexler to Sheed years. I am guessing them if All-Time.

I guessed the Spurs and it looks like they do have the most consecutive seasons .500 or better all-time. Jazz are second. Not sure about current, though.

Sorry.  Ended up away for the day.  It is a current streak.
Yup

Spurs weren't even above .500 last year.

The Nuggets would have a good streak going on with Jokic but I don't think it is longer than the Celtics.

Maybe the LA Clippers. The Kawhi / PG13 era. They had a role player team that made the playoffs before that. The CP3 / B Griffin era. I don't think they ever bottomed out and missed the playoffs. So they probably got a good 10-15 year streak going on.

Clippers was gonna be my 2nd guess

So yes.  Clippers have a 13 year streak!  Celtics are at 9.
Yup

I think that would be a very easy series tbh. Magic play tough defense, but they can't score, at all. Worst three point shooting team in like 14 years. teams that can't score don't have a chance against the Celtics.

I still think we'd win of course, but idk if Orlando is mostly healthy that wouldn't be easy either. I think they could push us to a 6th game which I'd like to avoid in the first round. Against MIA/DET/CHI though we should win in 5 easily.

I just watched a segment with Channing Frye where he talks about how we don't appreciate the talent of today's stars because we're blinded by nostalgia for bygone eras.

I don't necessarily believe that it's nostalgia, specifically, that drives the hyper-negative flavor of the discourse around today's league.  But SOMETHING drives that negativity, and I'm glad that one of these talking heads is finally speaking up against it.  It's better than hearing these guys on ESPN or TNT crap on today's players and teams.

Guys like Jokic, Giannis, SGA, Tatum, Luka are brilliant at this game.  They should be celebrated while they're here, televised and showcased as often as possible.  Instead what do we hear?  Jokic can't defend.  Giannis can't shoot.  SGA's nickname is FTA.  Tatum has no aura (whatever that even means).  Luka is fat.

It's sad.

Wolves and Thunder are playing each other again tonight. 3 out of their last 4 games they?ve faced each other. Split the first two.

I think we're a team that struggles against teams with size and length and the Wagner brothers, Paolo, Issac, WCJ, Goga are just that

Wild fourth-quarter comeback by the Wolves.  Let's see if they can finish it off.

Overtime.

I know the bench guys got you here, but you have to consider getting Ant back in, right?  I think you need that talent on the floor.
