The 76ers and Joel Embiid are consulting doctors and considering alternative options on his injured knee, sources tell ESPN. Sides have hoped for progress in Embiid?s body, but his efforts to play and current treatments, including injections, have not provided any improvement.

Yeah he's cooked, and quite frankly I now wonder how much longer he can play in the NBA IF the  next surgery is done and he's still dealing with chronic issues. Lonzo Ball missed multiple seasons for his injuries/surgeries and while he's playing now, he's clearly not the same anymore. And Lonzo is 27 now, Embiid is 31 soon.

It's quite crazy to think that Embiid is towards the end of his career... I still keep thinking of him as an up-and-comer.

His peak was in 2019 where they lost that Game 7 to the Raptors. It's been downhill ever since. And also, being beaten by the Celtics every time in the postseason lol

CLE vs MEM. Good test for both teams.

Opportunity to prove their title contender status.

Kuzma is a weapon for Milwaukee. To have that 3rd guy who can catch and drive quickly when Giannis or Dame kick it to the weakside is a boon for Milwaukee. Not more unathletic wings.

Milwaukee look more of a threat than NY are.

I like what Kuzma has given them. Helped ease those old man legs. Gave them some speed & athleticism. Moving Middleton for him has helped give them better balance athletically. Not just a slow old team anymore. More of a balanced team.

Embiid?s extension is just about to kick in next season? Between that and PG?s max contracts, the Sixers are screwed. Poor Maxey.

Really good game on ESPN between Memphis and Cleveland. It?s getting chippy!

Z Edey reminds me of Darko Milicic in terms of movement / athleticism. I just keep thinking of Darko every time I see Edey.

Those are weird isos by Morant. Why does he keep turning his drives into backdown post-ups once he gets to the elbow? And then take some type of spinning flip shot out of it?

Morant not playing his best basketball this year.

Aldama just tapped out a rebound he should have just grabbed and it earned his ass a poster from Mitchell.  Poetic.

No Gobert. No Randle. That is a shame. Hard to see Minny being able to hang in there against this OKC team without those guys. They look overmatched in the paint. Naz Reid by himself against Hartenstein & Chet Holmgren.

Morant is playing just under 29mpg. He only took 13 shots today. Guess they are saving him for the playoffs?
