Commentator = "Ja [Morant] has disagreed with virtually every call" in the 4th quarter. Super annoying. Refs should have T'd him up by now. Constantly barking at the refs.

The Mavs are actually putting up a respectable effort lately even without AD and Lively/Gafford. Christie was an underrated addition for them too, he feels like he's gonna emerge getting a bigger role on the Mavs than he did with LA

Magic are down 1 with 20-30secs left. Why are you shooting 3s?

A 15 footer is easier than a 25 footer.

You do not need a 3 in that situation.

Neat graphic on the screen in the Raptors vs Heat game. RJ Barrett just scored a basket to give him 7,000 career points. They showed a list of the top scorers from his draft class, the 2019 draft. RJ Barrett is #1 in scoring.

#1 - RJ Barrett - 7,000 points
#2 - D Garland - 6,800+ points
#3 - J Poole - 6,500+ points
#4 - Ja Morant - 6,400+ points
#5 - T Herro - 6,300+ points

RJ Barrett has played 3,000 more minutes than Morant. 12,000 minutes to Morant's 9,000 minutes due to all of Morant's missed time.

#6 - Colby White - 5,800+ points
#7 - Keldon Johnson - 5,300+ points
#8 - Zion Williamson - 4,981 points
#9 - PJ Washington
#10 - D Hunter
#11 - Rui Hachimura

Zion Williamson has only played 6,000+ minutes. RJ Barrett has doubled up on him in minutes played.

Next up are Cam Johnson, Kevin Porter Jr (impressive considering how little he has played, 6,800 minutes), Dan Gafford, T Mann, B Clarke, NAW, Nic Claxton, and our old friend Grant Williams at 19th.

Good job by RJ Barrett. Top scorer.

Another one for the useless trivia

Bam Adebayo just tied Rony Seikaly for the most double doubles in Miami Heat history.

Interesting that Seikaly had that and not Alonzo Mourning. Seikaly had 439 games for Miami. Zo had 407 games with the Heat before his kidney problems that forced him to retire for a while and then another 186 games when he returned as a 15-20mpg bench guy.

They took a page out of Jayson Tatum's (Joe Mazzulla's) playbook

Amen Thompson is quickly becoming one of my non-Celtic binkies.  That kid can play and is improving quickly.  Jumpshot ain't there yet and he seems to get lost in off-ball defense sometimes but I really like a lot of what he does on the court.  Good instincts and ridiculous athleticism.

Old man LeBron with 40 points tonight after a b2b night. Insane how this guy can still put up that many points.

Austin Reaves with 32 points as well

Lebron is absolutely insane on how he can continue playing at this level at 40 years of age. He definitely needs to write a diet and exercise book when he retires in 15 years.

Good game on ESPN between the T-Wolves and Rockets. Seems like Ant is starting to figure out how to deal with the double teams.

Tim Reynolds: This is Erik Spoelstra's 886th win with the Heat, including playoffs (excluding play-in tournament games, which don't count).

That's third-most by one coach with one team in NBA history, behind only Pop (1,582) and Jerry Sloan (1,223). Red Auerbach had 885 with the Celtics.

Basketball Hall of Fame member Dirk Nowitzki admitted he, like most everyone else, was shocked that the Dallas Mavericks sent Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in a blockbuster trade earlier this month.

"I think I was as shocked and surprised as anyone was. ... I really couldn't believe it," Nowitzki told 96.7 The Ticket in Dallas on Friday of his reaction to learning of the trade.

Nowitzki also shared his thoughts while texting with Doncic shortly after the deal.

"Of course I felt a little disappointed and sad for him, you know. I think he obviously didn't see this coming," Nowitzki said. "So he invited me to come out to his first game in L.A. and I felt like I had to support him.

"I think he was -- I mean it was reported that -- he was pretty down and disappointed in how it went down, and so I wanted to be there for him, I wanted to be there for his family. ... I'm sure he wanted to finish his career there like I did."

Still the most shocking (and one of the, if not, the worst) trade in NBA history

Jimmy Butler been putting up 20.4 PPG the last 5 games during his tenure with the Dubs. Also taken that leadership role with the clipboard during a timeout last night. He even able to get Draymond Green to listen to him during the huddle. What are they even paying Steve Kerr for  ;D

Guess a change in environment can be nice.

Give it a little more time and he'll be back to the same old disgruntled Jimmy he's always been.

Jimmy with 17pts on 5-10 FGA 7-7 FTA last night. 7ast and 0 turnovers. Super efficient scoring & playmaking.

24pts blowout of the Kings

That makes it 9.4 FTA per game against 13.2 FGA for Jimmy in his 5 games with the Warriors. Jimmy has been living at the FT line since the move.

6.2rpg and 5.6apg against only 1 turnover per game. Filling up the stat sheet. Those assists vs turnovers are amazing. Amazing for a PG nevermind a wing player.
