Conspiracy theory time, which I 100% believe to be true.

Robert Kraft did not want to give a 42 year old Tom Brady a fully guaranteed contract. Kirk Cousins becomes the first player in NFL history in 2018 to get a fully guaranteed contract, and you think Brady wouldn't ask for the same after all he did in New England for his final contract here?

Robert Kraft cowardly threw Belichick under the bus by telling the public it was 100% Bill's decision if the Patriots extend Brady. If I'm not mistaken, Kraft always took credit for making the deals that extended Brady in the past. Yet he couldn't step in one final time?

Why in the world would an aging Belichick, who was so close to the wins record, not want to extend Brady and virtually guaranteed himself the chance to break the record? I know there was a narrative that Brady was tired of Bill treating him badly/not respecting him, but for some reason Brady was still asking for an extension? I always took that as the local press buying/selling PR spin from ownership.

Because of Bill's military background, I feel like he believes in a order of command. Since Robert told him to fall on the sword and he was his employer, Bill went with it.

Bill knows how desperately Robert wants to be in the Hall of Fame. I believe this is where Bill is getting back at Robert. Bill has been talking to the Hall of Fame voters and has told them what Robert is like behind the scenes, especially with how the Brady situation was handled.

Robert Kraft, the six-time Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots owner considered a favorite for the 2025 class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, has been passed over again by the Hall's contributor committee, sources told ESPN.

Robert Kraft is and has always been a joke. Those 6 Superbowls don't happen without Brady.

Putting out that crap documentary PR piece didn't help.

Belichick & Brady should get in before Kraft.

And those two are just the start.  Kraft doesn't belong in the Hall of Fame, as a "contributor" or otherwise.

Not interested in seeing owners in the HoF anyway, no matter how decorated.  Nobody tunes in on Sundays to see owners own.

Six flags on the O-line so far.
Defense is awful.

Calling it now, Mayo is not the guy. This team is undisciplined and the defensive scheme is garbage. Those are 2 things that no matter how pitiful our offense is, he should have control of.

Idk what he?ll be 10 years from now, but Mayo isn?t ready now. And Pats need someone ready for Drake Maye  over the next few years while he?s on rookie deal.  Pats can turn this around quickly with a smart off-season.

Now that's the New England Patriots I come to know. Just tank, baby!

31-0 Miami lead. Miami look like the Brady-led Patriots against an AFC East team today with the score and all.  ;D

Bill Belichick was the most powerful coach/GM in professional sports. This is not a vast media conspiracy. He made the call. This whitewashing of his mistakes is not helping the current situation.

Bad GM decisions got us where we are. My biggest concern is that we made the director of scouting during some of the worst drafts in history into our full-time GM.

You guys aren't seeing the forest for the trees.

The problem isn't Kraft meddling in football decisions. The problem is Kraft has been too cowardly about cleaning house and turning the page. He's old, weak, and far too concerned about public opinion.

No coach in the league could win with this roster. The line makes mistakes because they are not NFL players, they are under constant collective duress, and can't get the reps together to function as a unit because they're not good enough to stay on the field.

This is what 7 years or so of bad drafting looks like. I don't know if Mayo will ever be a good coach. But right now he's in a nightmare situation not of his own making.

Figures our only touchdown would be because nobody in Miami noticed Hooper because he?s so nondescript  :police:

And Maye extending the play, running for his life but somehow making the completion.

Oh Wright fumbles the football and Gonzalez recovers and return for TD. Maye went for 2 and now it's 31-15, two-scoring game.
