I was always a Classic Trek guy, but he was great as Captain Picard.   I loved him in Excalibur and he was a great Professor X.  RIP!

Stewart's portrayal of Picard did a lot to teach me what a wise, strong, dignified man looks like, especially in tense, difficult situations.

I know it sound silly to say that about a show with aliens, talking androids, and god-like beings. But I think that's what made the show special: it was able to be silly and campy, tickling that curious sci-fi part of my brain, while at the same time giving dignity to life and lifting my soul to be better.

STNG will always be a top 3 tv series for me. Going to have to start rewatching it again in his honor. RIP.

I wonder if it will affect anything with his Avengers Professor X role? Not sure how much he was actually in their plans moving forward after Doomsday.

The Picard reboot is worth a watch too if you haven?t seen it.  Not the greatest story lines but the nostalgia is worth it IMO. 

I read Stewart?s autobiography a few years back.  He had some great stories and an amazing life / career.  A favorite of mine for sure.
