Batum got 2yrs $9.6mil from LAC. I presume that is the taxpayers MLE. Good deal for him. I thought he'd be a minimum guy now given his age. Nice.

I'd prefer to have Batum over Klay.

Cost aside. Just straight up performance wise.

76ers became a top 3 team in the East with the addition of Paul George.

They'll be tough. Our road to repeat got tougher. Eeeek.

I wonder if Charlotte will start Josh Green.

G: LaMelo
G: Josh Green
F: Brandon Miller
F: Miles Bridges
C: Mark Williams

That could be a fun group if LaMelo can stay healthy.

Maybe its just me, but an Embiid-led 76ers team will never strike fear in my heart.

That could be a fun group if LaMelo can stay healthy.

Charlotte have Tre Mann at PG. They acquired Reggie Jackson recently as well. So two rotation caliber PGs. They have small guards they drafted last year in Nick Smith Jr and Amari Bailey. And KJ Simpson in this year's draft. Lot of small guards.

I'd like to see them play bigger though. Shift LaMelo to PG and start Josh Green at SG. They would have a nice switchable lineup 1 through 4 then.

I'd probably go Tre Mann as backup PG and either bench or dump Reggie Jackson. Developing Mann is more important to their future. I'd rather have legit wings at SG instead of one of those small guards. None of them showed they were ready for the NBA last year.

How can Milwaukee sign Delon Wright for $3.3MM when they're above the 2nd apron?

That salary is above the vet min, no?

https://stathead.com/basketball/versus-finder.cgi?request=1&seasons_type=forall&year_min=2024&player_id1=georgpa01&player_id2=batumni01

Based on what?

Batum over Klay on defense, rebounding, ball-handling & passing. Klay has him on scoring & outside shooting.

I wonder if Thompson will have better chemistry as a spot-up player than Zinger did?

Sorry, misread.  I thought you meant Batum over George.

I think they're praying for Derozan.

I am surprised LAL is not making a run at Tillman. He'd be a nice improvement over Jaxson Hayes as their backup center. I was surprised they did not go for Tillman last year when he was available as well. That bench big slot is weak for them.
