How can Milwaukee sign Delon Wright for $3.3MM when they're above the 2nd apron?

That salary is above the vet min, no?

I think it is the vet min. It has gone up a lot over the last few years.

So who does that leave now for the lakers?

I think they're praying for Derozan.

I see the Clippers linked with DeRozan a lot as well. They are hoping DeRozan can be their fall back option to replace PG13.

And DeRozan has always wanted to play at home in LA.

De'Anthony Melton one year $12.8mil to GSW.

An alternative to Gary Payton III if GP continues to be injured.

DeMar DeRozan will leave the Chicago Bulls this offseason with a source telling the Chicago Sun-Times that their trade of Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey was "the final star" for his departure. At one point, DeRozan was expected to re-sign with the Bulls but they pivoted toward a youth movement.

You would wonder where else he can go without taking a major paycut. I know the LA teams want him but I don't know how they can make the money work.

What other teams could make a run at DeRozan?

Question for those who are tracking - who still has money above the non-tax MLE?

The Los Angeles Clippers not only offered Paul George a three-year contract instead of a four-year one, but they also were unwilling to offer a no-trade clause, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Sports Center.

Insult to injury.

We are not going to offer you that final year you want and we're not going to give you a no-trade clause because we want to be able to trade your butt if we get fed up with ya. Nice.

It is exactly the vet min for 10+ years of experience, per HoopsHype.

Kristian Winfield: The Knicks had their max offer of 4 years, $72.5 million on the table for Isaiah Hartenstein, but the average annual value of that deal was only $18.1 million.

OKC gave him $87mil 3yrs so $29mil per year.

So NY was offering about 60% per annum of what OKC did.

I know he is not the shadow of himself, but I would love to sign Hayward. By now he has surely realized his role in the league, and it would be a Horford like reunion and role.

But I have a felling he is a money guy, he would literally play in Detroit for the next two years, for 2 million more than the vet min he is worth.

Hayward's wife hates Boston. Hayward was also complaining about playing time in OKC. Pass on him.

Unfortunately Hayward is just a shell of himself..he might have one good game then bad next 4..he never fully recover from that devastating leg injury
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Ah, I thought it was $2.7MM.

So of the five teams above the 2nd apron, I believe this is what they've done to add to their rosters (not including their losses, except for Golden State's)...

Milwaukee Bucks: Delon Wright

Phoenix Suns:  Mason Plumlee

Boston Celtics: TBD

Golden State Warriors: With Klay ($43MM) and Paul ($30MM) leaving, does this -$73MM bring the Warriors below the 2nd apron?  They were at $207MM in salary.

Is this how they signed De'Anthony Melton?

LA Clippers: TBD

Orlando were going after him as well.
