Baseball America updated its ranking after the Rays' Junior Caminero graduated from prospect status.
(Red Sox)Roman Anthony now sits at the No. 1 position in Baseball America?s annual Top 100 Prospects ranking after the Rays Junior Caminero the original No. 1 graduated from prospect status.
The ranking was based on discussions with scouts, analysts, and coaches as well as the Baseball America Prospect Handbook and previous rankings.
Anthony is among a total of six prospects from Boston that made the ranking, with Marcelo Mayer at No. 10, Kristian Campbell at No. 24, and Kyle Teel at No. 25. All three were promoted to Triple-A Worcester alongside Anthony last month.
