Guess we're playing the "how many starters can the Celtics lose before Orlando gets a win" game.

The way things are going, Porzingis might turn out to be the only player who isn?t injured.

I don?t like the idea of a hamstring injury for Jrue.  Can take a while and be easily re-aggravated.

If the Celtics are going to eliminate the Orlando Magic at TD Garden on Tuesday night, they?re going to have to do it once again without veteran guard Jrue Holiday.

The Celtics ruled Holiday as out for Tuesday?s Game 5 matchup in Boston during Monday?s injury report. The 34-year-old guard is set to miss his third game in a row due to a right hamstring strain.

Boston also listed Jaylen Brown as questionable for Game 5 due to a right knee posterior impingement ? although Brown hasn?t missed time this series while playing with that injury designation.

SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

When exactly did Jrue strain his hamstring? Was it from a dirty play by Orlando?

Keep in mind, assuming we hold on, we still need DET to force a Game 7 in order for the next round to begin early next week. Otherwise even if NY wins Game 6, good chance Game 1 of the next round is Sunday. Might be beneficial for Jrue, Jaylen, etc. for those extra days

It?s funny how Magic fans are all over Tony Brothers for that 5?th foul on Banchero. Even Banchero?s dad tweeted about it. It was clearly a foul.

I have so many conflicting thoughts on that series.  I want it to go 7 for the Celtics benefit.  I?m kind of rooting for the upstart Pistons to beat the Knicks and hush the loudmouth NY fans, but I?d also rather see the Celts play the Knicks for matchup purposes.  I?d also kind of like to see how Detroit develops in a second round series - just maybe not necessarily against the Celtics.  Might be fun to start hating Detroit again?but oh the satisfaction of beating the Knicks in MSG.

In the end I guess the next round will be an entertaining series that the Celtics should ultimately win. Kick back and wait?

I mean if they called that on Tatum or brown in the same circumstances I would?ve been annoyed too. Soft call. It?s ok to admit it

Brown looks fine to me. He was slowed a bit at the end of the season, but he looks normal to me right now.

I think the Holiday thing is just taking an abundance of caution. They aren't trying to just beat the Magic. If they were, he would have played. They are trying to win the championship. They will especially need him to go against Mitchell and Shai in the final two rounds.

Give me Boston-New York.  Any time those two cities meet in a playoff series, it carries cache.  Also, saw something crazy the other day that the Knicks & Celtics have not met in playoffs beyond the first round in 41 years.
