Celtics win, Bucks lose, Lakers lose. Just need the 76ers to lose and it'll be a complete night.

Lakers blown out by rockets. Their defense is not good…need to dump Reaves or Russell for someone that can guard on the perimeter

Big highlight was Dillon Brooks knocking LeBron in the face while trying to rebound, and LeBron flopped his way to the floor in an overreaction.

Anytime LeBron gets heckled or hacked, I applaud the opposing player.

2-5 in the East right now is an absolute mess. Only 2 in the loss column separates 2 from 5.

Anthony Edwards called out the "cheating A refs" in post game interview after win. Now that's something you don't hear everyday coming from the winning team.

Admittedly he will take the fine, but the message had to be made. Was it too harsh or his assessment was fair?

They need to switch to the FIBA rules where you have only 5 seconds to shoot a free throw.

Cut out the time wasting.

2-5 in the East right now is an absolute mess. Only 2 in the loss column separates 2 from 5.

At one point the standings were:

Miami Heat 24-16
New York Knicks 23-17

Then the Knicks proceeded to win 7 in a row, while the Heat have lost 7 in a row. That's pretty weird. Now the Knicks are a serious threat (along with the Cavaliers) to the Bucks and 76ers for the 2 and 3 seed, while the Heat will be battling with the Magic and Bulls for homecourt advantage in the play-ins.

In the mean time the West is an absolute rollercoaster. You have the Timberwolves, Nuggets, Thunder and Clippers going for the top seed. Suns (who are climbing up), Kings, Mavericks and Pelicans are fighting to secure a playoff-spot. And Lakers, Jazz, Rockets and the Warriors are trying to at least make the play-in.

I think the play-in change has been an absolute success. How many teams would be coasting soon or starting to tank with the old-top-8-rule because they wouldn't have much to play for?

We have enough of a gap where I would actually like the Sixers/Bucks to win a bit more and stay in the 2/3 spot at this point.  Sadly, I have the feeling that one of them will end up in the 4/5 spot and we will have to go through both in the playoffs anyways.  Obviously the Cavs, Knicks and Heat are all talented too, but with the Sixers/Bucks we would not have the best player in the series and that can always be big come playoff time.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

That's not great news for teams like the Celts.  Not only is it not a full 10% increase, but it's lower than projections from June by about $1 million.
