Heat just aren’t very good

With their current starting lineup, they're undersized at arguably every position and not really athletic or skilled enough to compensate for it.

Also Brunson is just really good and he's putting it on them.

Bad fall for Randle.  Hope that's not a torn pec.

So looks like sixers waiving the white flag tonight
Sixers are without Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris.

Boy, that’s a tough one if Randle ends up missing significant time. 17 point lead with 4.5 minutes left when it happened. Heat starters still in so not unreasonable to have him out there, but still stinks to have that happen in a game that’s likely already determined.

What a softy. Regularly ducks big games against top competition when not at home. Too much of a theme for this to just be a coincidence. He’ll be rightly roasted for it.

Heat aren’t just losing games. They are getting blown out in games.

I thought teams specifically weren't supposed to do this in nationally-televised games.  What happened to that whole deal?

Embiid is in danger of missing the games played benchmark for regular season awards too.  I'm a little surprised he's okay with this.

He just continues to duck Jokic & Denver on the road whenever he can. Save me the BS about the "staff being concerned". Jokic 100% should have won MVP last year not Embiid. Embiid can now only miss 6 more games this season otherwise he won't be eligible for MVP or any other in-season awards.

They played in Philly. Embiid is pretty clearly dodging Jokic in Denver and has been for 5 years.

eh. Dude always misses games.  I mean he was pretty clearly dodging him in 2021-22, but he made it look real so he missed the 5 games before and 3 games after.  And the year before that he also tried to fake it by missing the 8 games before and the game after.
