Watching the Knicks/Cavs game on TNT. Not really impressed with Mobley. Seems kinda soft. Also, Tristan Thompson is still in the NBA? Huh.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Has anyone watched Scoot Henderson yet? Any thoughts on his early struggles?

Their lineups lack spacing with Scoot, Thybulle and Ayton all starting together. I expect that is a part of the problem. Possibly a large part of the problem.

I see some comments saying his athleticism isn't as explosive as advertised. That he isn't able to blow by people as easily as we expected. Any truth to that?

Scoot was averaging 13.5ppg and 5.8apg in just 28mpg in 4 preseason games. He was shooting 42% from the floor. Only 2.5 FTA against 12 FGA though. So not getting to the FT line. Only 29% from three. 3.5 turnovers per game.

Not efficient but strong production. Almost a point every two minutes. An assist every 4-5 minutes.

Oh my Lord this Suns/Spurs ending is crazy! Spurs about to pull off the huge comeback after Johnson just rips it out of KD's hands and puts it in!

I enjoyed the highlight where Wemby dunked over somebody while launching from outside the paint.
The camera cut to KD who had a shocked look on his face. I feel like surprising KD or Giannis with outlier length or coordination is wild. They are the typical "unicorns" of the last decade.

Guards like Kemba, Kyrie and Lillard sure could/can score well but defensively, blah, blah, blah…….

It's still very early. Perhaps Milwaukee's offense comes around to make up for the defensive deficiencies, particularly on the perimeter. But I don't think there's any fixing the perimeter defense issues, which is a killer in today's NBA. But even offensively, it's still not a natural fit with both players needing the ball in their hands and Giannis being a non-shooter.

Miami was clearly a better fit for Lillard, as they could better cover for his weak perimeter defense.

I bet they wish they had a strong defensive guard, a guy like Holliday

I'm trying not to get too giddy on what's happening in Milwaukee because the season just started but it's getting harder lol how do you play good defense if you can't guard the perimeter?

Even in their win against Philly they got destroyed by Oubre and Maxey
