Memphis down 25 points in the second quarter. I'm not trying to dog Smart too much, but you'd think a guy who won the defensive MVP two years ago, a guy who can run an offense credibly, a guy who was supposedly the leader of a contending team for years, could stabilize this freefall.

Giannis and Lillard with a combined 31 points.  Those two guys need to bring it EVERY night for the bucks or I guess this happens.

Yeesh, Heat got beat at home by the Nets tonight, too, even with 30 from Herro. Denver on their way to a first loss, too. Good night for us. Throw a Dallas loss in there, too, and it'd be perfect.

Memphis down big yet again. Man, they're a mess right now. Poor Smart.

I see Raptors destroyed Bucks in the paint. The Giannis Dame partnership still having teething problems

It has only been a few games.  Much harder to integrate a player like Dame than a player like Jrue.  They'll start playing better but I do think they are more likely to be 2nd tier in the East with the Sixers than 1st tier with the Celts.

Smart isn’t that guy, he’s a role player. That team has bigger problems than him though. Chris Vernon will keep saying the opposite though lol

Of course you couldn’t count on the Bulls. Blowing the game to the Mavs at the end 🙄

It's still very early. Perhaps Milwaukee's offense comes around to make up for the defensive deficiencies, particularly on the perimeter. But I don't think there's any fixing the perimeter defense issues, which is a killer in today's NBA. But even offensively, it's still not a natural fit with both players needing the ball in their hands and Giannis being a non-shooter.

Miami was clearly a better fit for Lillard, as they could better cover for his weak perimeter defense.

I bet they wish they had a strong defensive guard, a guy like Holliday

I feel like  they signed Dame more to keep Giannis happy than to really improve the team...their offense improved but their defense got a lot worse, and I think it was a net loss. But Giannis demanded a major signing, the head of Bud wasn't enough.

Early days but it also looks like Griffin is struggling to find his feet, they have a new team and new staff

They may blow up that team at the deadline, maybe we can get a piece or two, we do have some tradable pieces for our bench

He's only one person and I think their issues right now go beyond what one person can fix
