Hate to say, but the Lakers also have that "killer instinct" we all wish the C's had. In fact, only series this round going 7 is ours. Which was probably unexpected. Denver, Miami and LAL have all basically taken care of business, and when they had the chances to close out their series in a 5th or 6th game, they took care of business. C's goofed around and now it's going 7. Last round, they goofed around Game 5 and it took 6 just to beat Atlanta (and not too far from going 7 that round either)

Sounds like 2008 allover again.

if it gets us a title screw it i will take it  ;D ;D
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Nothing to do with this year's playoffs but I just saw this statistic and it blew me away. It was one of these computer graphics with a basketball trivia question during a game:

Which basketball played has averaged the most assists in a five game playoff series?

Answer: Magic Johnson with 17.0apg against Portland in 1985.

Imagine that. 17 assists per game. For five games! Wow. Magic also averaged 21.8ppg and 7.6rpg to go with those 17 assists. Plus 1.8 steals per game for good measure. While shooting 56.5% FG% and 86.5% FT% for a ridiculous 66.7% TS%. The league average TS% in the playoffs that year was 54.3% so +12.4% rTS%.

He had 12 assists in game 1, then 18, then 23, back down to 13 but finishing with 19 dimes in the closeout game. 17.0apg. Wow.

Wouldn’t totally count Denver out of this lakers series but Jokic will have to play some all time unforgettable basketball to get it done
He has averaged 31/13/10 on 55/48/79 shooting, and has lost 3 games. Pretty unforgettable

DEN > LAL
PHI > LAL
BOS > LAL
MIA = LAL

LAL got a long way to go. A long hard uphill battle to a title.
Agree, they're at best the 2nd worst team remaining. But, as per usual, people here are fawning over them

This is a nice little video essay breaking down Denver's offence, and how it is nigh on impossible to stop

Evan Fournier frustrated with the Knicks, wants out after not playing him at all. Should the C's take a chance at him

He's a defensive liability which is why Thibs didn't play him. He wouldn't help this Celtics team much either.

Guys like Hauser, PP, Muscala, G-Will aren't getting much playing time this postseason, if any. How on earth does Fournier help us? He certainly didn't in 2021 either

I’m sure the feeling is mutual for the Knick’s FO and Thibs. C’s dodged a bullet.

Some people on here thought we should have resigned Fournier a few years back so there's that.

I always find the rewriting of history regarding Fournier quite interesting. Yeah, he was a mediocre defender - why anyone was surprised by that is confusing.

When he was here, he was an elite shooter. 46% from 3, better than both Brogdon and Horford this season. He kept the ball moving and didn't turn it over, and was one of the few guys to show up in that playoff run. I think we win the Finals if we kept Fournier, to be honest. His shooting and scoring off the bench would have helped a lot more than G-Will / PP.

Well it wasn't Kerr, but Monty Williams definitely got fired:
