Evan Fournier frustrated with the Knicks, wants out after not playing him at all. Should the C's take a chance at him

I’m sure the feeling is mutual for the Knick’s FO and Thibs. C’s dodged a bullet.

He makes about the same as Smart which is crazy

Some people on here thought we should have resigned Fournier a few years back so there's that.
I always find the rewriting of history regarding Fournier quite interesting. Yeah, he was a mediocre defender - why anyone was surprised by that is confusing.

When he was here, he was an elite shooter. 46% from 3, better than both Brogdon and Horford this season. He kept the ball moving and didn't turn it over, and was one of the few guys to show up in that playoff run. I think we win the Finals if we kept Fournier, to be honest. His shooting and scoring off the bench would have helped a lot more than G-Will / PP.

If he was coming off the bench, maybe, but he cost too much to keep for a bench guy who doesn't play defense. Brogdon is a two way player for that kind of money. Fournier and Kemba were a disaster of a starting backcourt back then.

he's a defensive liability. the main difference between last year and the years prior is that Stevens made smart starter and deviated from Ainge's obsession with the no defense/shoot first undersized guards.

id take him back off the bench, but he would have to be cheap. And basically to take the hauser role. but even Hauser I think is a better defender.

According to Shams, Steve Kerr was let go by the Warriors today.

I would almost immediately sign him up to replace Joe
Me too right now, but I would have to think long and hard about it if C's win the chip this year.

The Bucks interviewing Mark Jackson for head coach:

Now that would be a massive downgrade!

Win or lose, still want to replace him. Seeing him on the sidelines almost always irritates me

Maxey scares me. Very good at stopping Cs momentum.  Stays within himself.

So who are people taking in the Lakers nuggets series? I am favoring Denver, but the Lakers have been playing well.

Depends on which AD shows up. He's been up and down but if he plays well - especially defending Jokic - Lakers advance.
