I love Mike Malone.

Quote
Michael Malone: “You win Game 1 of the playoffs, and all everybody talked about was the Lakers. Let’s be honest, that was a national narrative: The Lakers were fine. They’re down 1-0 but they figured something out. No one talked about that Nikola had a historic performance. He’s got 13 triple-doubles now. Third all-time. What he’s doing is just incredible, but the narrative wasn’t about the Nuggets. The narrative wasn’t about Nikola. The narrative is about the Lakers and their adjustments. So you put that in your pipe, you smoke it, you come back and you know what, we’re going to go up 2-0.”

Yep.  And I bet he's playing up the MVP voting, too.  Anything to make his team feel disrespected and motivated.

Great quote from Michael Malone, but careful, LeBron wont take that lightly. That man responds back to bulletin board material pretty well. With the help from his ref friends.

I expect this one to come back to Denver 2-2

This is exactly why I'm not rooting for a Celtics/Lakers Finals.  Even if the C's win, all we'll hear about is LeBron/Lakers.

which team down 0-2 is more likely to win the series?  LA is at home the next 2 while Boston goes to Miami for the next 2, but I still think Boston is more likely to win the series as I do think Boston pretty clearly has more talent than Miami.

Prob similar odds. The Celtics can win on the road, and the Lakers have 3 home games left.

After 2 games, I think Jimmy Butler and Jokic are playing the best right now and deserve to win the series.

Tatum time game 3. We will feel better after winning Sunday.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

I'd still say Boston. Denver to me looks like the best team remaining in the entire playoffs.

And not shockingly, Miami is missing shots and passing up 3's.....because of course they are.

This Denver team would’ve destroyed us. I just have to keep telling myself that. But with their size and Joe’s lack of adjustments, I think this could’ve been ugly.

I hope DEN sweeps MIA just to embarass MIL & BOS further for losing to these mediocre (playoff team wise) MIA team.

Nuggets playing defense on another level than we were.
