I say Dallas will get fine heavily as they should be..if I were a Mavericks fan, I be furious.. get a top 10 pick ( probably be 10)? Who cares bout that unless it’s #1..Luka can’t be happy

It’ll be pretty frustrating when we see  Cuban smiling on lottery day when it becomes apparent that Dallas lucked a top 3.   Ends justifying the means happens all the time.   I don’t like it but Mavs fans will ultimately be ecstatic if they pull off a lottery miracle or if they gat a strong player at 10.

Dallas will get the 11th pick. You don't mess with the basketball gods.

No they won't.  The pick goes to the Knicks if it ends up outside the top 10 which is why they are "tanking".

The whole Lakers/Pelicans pick swap scenarios turned out to be close to a dud.

Rob Pelinka has to be GM of the year, making those big midseason moves and they flipped their season around after starting like 2-10.

If the lakers lose in the playin they can still win the lottery right? The lakers are going to be in the playin barring the biggest upset of the season tomorrow. I feel like people are getting confused with lakers and think they are already in the playoffs. They are not.

Who would have imagined at the beginning of the season that the Thunder would be in the playoffs and the Mavs would not?

I'd say its more likely than not that the Lakers make the playoffs.  They've taken 2 of 3 from the Pels this season with the loss coming before the Westbrook trade.  They're also played well against OKC.  T-Wolves, not so much.

Theoretically they could win the lottery with a whopping 0.50% probability so I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Not me. In particular the Western Conference has been very weird.

Kind of funny that all the 1 PM games tomorrow literally don't matter. The East has all their seeds locked in 1-10 (playoffs and play-in teams) and nothing can change regardless of result. So expect a ton of bench players and third stringers tomorrow all around

Well it doesn’t have to be winning the lottery for it to be meaningful. The 14th pick swapped for the 19th or whatever is pretty significant. I also just think people are assuming they win the playin which seems pretty silly to me. They have been mostly beating bad teams lately.
