https://clutchpoints.com/nba-rumors-luka-doncic-trade-rumblings-get-jolt-after-mavs-disaster-season-ends

Interesting times ahead for Dallas.

Doncic to Celtics make it happen!
Just for fun and not having Tatum be the centerpiece, I think it would take something like this to get it done.

Doncic, Hardaway, Bertans

for

Brown, White, Rob, Pritchard, Gallinari, Muscala, 24 1st, 26 1st, 28 1st, swaps in 25 and 27

So post-trade Boston would be (re-signing Grant)

Starters - Smart, Doncic, Tatum, Grant, Horford
Bench - Brogdon, Hardaway, Bertans, Kornet, Champagnie
Open Spots - 5

That would be an interesting team. Its success would depend on how well Doncic and Tatum could get along. Given Doncic's ceiling, I'd probably do that, but it is a lot to give up and the team would need to do very well in free agency to make it fully work.

You're forgetting Hauser and Griffin. Having an extraordinary shooter like Hauser would create an extra dimension to that offense. And I'd trade Smart and keep White. But that's my preference.

Thus my starters + main bench would be: White/Doncic/Hauser/Tatum/Horford + (Brogdon, Hardaway, G.Williams/Bertans, Griffin).

The offense with Doncic and Tatum mainly running it with always one of them on the court surrounded by shooters as Brogdon, White, Hardaway, Hauser, Horford, G-Will or Bertans would be historic to watch.

The question is our rebounding and defense. Our front court is old and thin. Nonetheless I see a championship in there, but we may already have it.
that team doesn't win a title (yours or especially Moranis').  front court will get abused, badly.   Luka and Tatum would be a dynamic offense in theory but Luka's D is dreadful.  the bench is woefully thin.

Yeah.  Brown + White + Rob collectively add more than Luka.
Yeah, Rob tips that over. I would do Brown & Smart + picks & younger guys
Rob doesn't play enough for that to tip over.  He isn't reliable at all.
I disagree because of how well he plays when he does. Your package is a very steep overpay, especially taking Bertans back alongside 5 firsts. I know you don't rate Brown, but that's because you're wrong

Kris Dunn has done pretty well for the Jazz since Feb. 12.6/5.5/4.3 on 53/46/77 shooting, pretty good.

Also had a nice ejection against the Celtics.

Danny Ainge should be in prison for that robbery.
In hindsight it looks too ridiculous to be true.
How does he do it? Some evil spells or something?

With Golden State win (up 45), does that assure the Lakers will have to play-in?

I think so.  Clippers swept the series so even a loss and other LA team win they get the tie breaker.

Unfortunately just saw replay of LBJ finish off Utah with a 3 and then mimes placing a crown on his head - relishing his “king” moniker.  So hoping they get bounced… quickly.

Wow.

Appearently, a journalist was in the process of doing an article on Kyle Anderson's blunt leadership style and asked Gobert about him just yesterday with Gobert saying "a little aggressive in the way he talks" but that Gobert takes in a positive way because Kyle just wants what is best for him and the team. Gobert loves Kyle's competiviness and his style of play.

Haha, oh boy. Too funny.

It was a very cringeworthy display. Scraping by against a depleted Jazz team inspired him to pull that out.

Wolves' Jaden McDaniels also took a swing in the hallway on some wall and injured his hand in the process. Yikes. Wolves becoming a dysfunctional team this late into the season.
