With Golden State win (up 45), does that assure the Lakers will have to play-in?

Yeah a lot of people on the forum had this wrong and assumed lakers were in. They are not. They are in the playin

Unfortunately just saw replay of LBJ finish off Utah with a 3 and then mimes placing a crown on his head - relishing his “king” moniker.  So hoping they get bounced… quickly.
It was a very cringeworthy display. Scraping by against a depleted Jazz team inspired him to pull that out.

He has become rather embarrassing

#NBAPlayoffs First Round, Game 1 dates. More information will be provided as it is finalized.

Nice, we got the Saturday slot.

So excited for GSW-SAC Saturday night as well on ABC. That city and arena will be ELECTRIC

Light the beam!!! They finally getting some love on ABC. I really want the Kings to win. I just don't think they have the playoff experience or explosiveness to counter Steph and Klay and company. But I can be wrong

Yeah I hope I'm wrong, but I predict GSW in 6. I think SAC will take Game 1, GSW Game 2, then GSW win both games at San Francisco, then SAC Game 5, before GSW closes it at home Game 6. Golden State has the experience where they can steal a road game, but idk if SAC can if it comes to it. There'll definitely be some shootouts though which is exciting

Assuming the Lakers win their play-in game, what do you guys predict for a Grizzlies-Lakers 1st round series?

Would be quite the scene if/when the entire Pacific Division make the playoffs.

And the Atlantic Division. C'mon Raptors don't let the Atlantic down!!

That's what I'm thinking. No Steven Adams for Memphis, but the Lakers have been struggling to beat mediocre lineups like the Jazz second stringers in must win games.

The playoff experience the grizzled have gotten does matter. Adams has also been out for 4 months. This isn’t new news. brooks and babe are also very solid players. The grizzlies have consistently been a better team over the last two years than the lakers. Really been completely confused where this wave of enthusiasm for the lakers has come from. It wouldn’t surprise me if they lost to wolves in their first playoff game (although loss of mcdaniels hurts them)

Outside of Boston winning, obviously, the team I'd like to see win the most is the Kings, both because it would mean the Warriors lose, but also because I think the Kings are a great story and I'd like to see them win at least a round.

Embiid has won his 2nd straight scoring title.  Last time that was done by a center was McAdoo winning 3 straight (1974-76).

Sacramento got lucky with the GSW matchup. A finesse team. More of a jump-shooting team than a team that will attack their weak interior defense.

Sabonis will cause a lot of problems for GSW. GSW should be worried.

He really needs to get out of second round. Approaching hallow accolades at this point. Do you think he can do it?
