Hate when ppl say “it’s early” in sports..every game counts in all sports..if u don’t make playoffs & miss it by one or two games, then there u go..like baseball, it’s a long season but end of the day, that game will matter down the road

Who has the tie breaker between Celtics and Nuggets?  Have we clinched home court against them?

I think Nuggets because conference record.

The magic number is 1. 1 more Boston win OR Denver loss and Boston has homecourt in the Finals if they reach it.

Nuggets need to win their last three games and the Celtics lose their last two to get to that point.  Since H2H is tied, both are division winners, and they don't play in the same division, I think the tiebreaker goes all the way down to conference record which would go to DEN.

I could be wrong, though

Thanks (TP).  Denver has @PHO, @UTA, and SAC.  Hard to believe they could win all 3 the way they are resting people.  The Celtics may do major resting too though.  It ain't over 'till it's over, I guess.

ESPN has the current standings with Denver ahead of Philly and Memphis ahead of Cleveland.  I'm not sure if that is actually in order though as the Hawks are ahead of the Lakers and Pelicans as well.

Yeah, that's not good.

I guess it depends on how they feel about potential HCA in the Finals.  Right now, they have the same record as DEN and their H2H is 1-1. Losing to MIA tonight could be costly with conference record tiebreaker.

But I definitely see where you're coming from.

Zion and Simmons are easily the worst contracts in the game right now, especially if Zion barely plays next year as well.

I don’t think you can really manipulate the standings as much with the playin. It definitely happens a lot less than it is brought up. Some of the stuff has gotten flat out ridiculous like the lakers should throw the game last night.

And risk facing the Heat in the 1st round? Not a chance.

Miami eliminated them last season, are a bad matchup, and are only a game and a half behind Brooklyn. If Philly loses tonight, they will tank the last game against the Nets.

I don’t see why PHI would want to lose to MIA.  Right now, they would have BKN in the first round. Why help MIA change that.

I hope Joe is drawing up some plays to attack a zone defense.
