That is what I thought.  It is possible that CHI finishes in sole possession of the 10 worst record but then wins their way out of the lottery, leaving the 10th slot in the lottery to Dallas.  Probably isn't going to happen, but could.  CHI could beat ATL and TOR.

Dallas does seem to be tanking.  It is shameful.  Not much you can do about it though.

This seems like big news:

Bucks star Khris Middleton underwent an MRI on his knee Thursday and he is expected to rehab for the next week or so in hopes of being ready for start of the playoffs, sources say

So Middleton may not be fully healthy the rest of the season. Local Bucks media is also saying he's been dealing with soreness for a bit now and it's lingering.

If BOS beats MIL in the ECF, I guess there'll be more "but what if Middleton was fully healthy" lol

God I can’t take another year of people acting like Middleton is prime Scottie pippen and the only reason we could beat them. Please god no.

Pippen with a 3PT shot, haha.

Middleton is no Pippen as a defender, it isn't even close lol

They're choosing lottery pick over a dead end playoff appearance & no draft pick.

Zion might just end up being a bust. Guy is always hurt.

I kept wondering why the media was even saying that today. Like I'm pretty sure the entire world knew Zion was out this season lol. Basically assumed it.

I mean even if the Pels surprise everyone and advance a few rounds, I still doubt Zion would return

So apparently the Mavs are having Luka play ONLY the first, but not the remaining three quarters?

Why not just sit him out entirely? Lol what a confusing franchise (and Cuban has also seemingly gone senile lately, when you also consider all the Brunson comments/drama he started over the past week)

Mavs fans are also confused, since Luka has missed games this season anyways so it's not like he's seeking some record or "iron man award" like Bridges

Frankly I think Luka should seriously consider getting himself out of Dallas after next season. Cuban isn't doing enough to help him and I have a feeling Kyrie will go elsewhere (but even if he stays, how can anyone expect he'll definitely stay the entire contract with Dallas). It's becoming a messy situation in Dallas. It's been that way since Dirk retired, but even after the Mavs pulled off the awesome trade to get Luka in the Draft, they are seemingly wasting that too

I hope the reporters ask Cuban about it. That’s pathetic.

The league office should come down on them or at least discuss some serious revisions to the league policies. This is clear outright tanking.

Didn’t Luka say that he’ll keep playing as long as they have a chance? This is really weird.

Sounds like Luka is playing. Kyrie, Hardaway Jr, Woods, Green, Kleber, Morris are out. What kind of message does that send to your star player? I honestly think Dallas could give Denver a run for their money if they got into the 8th spot.

Thanks. I read in one of the previous posts that he would be playing only one quarter. If so I would love to hear the logic behind that.

Miami playing scrubs and  losing badly. They are locking into 7th finish. BOS plays winner of  MIA-ATL play in, looks like.
