I was busy today so was catching up a bit on Youtube. My god... did CP3 do something to Beverley on a personal level? Because boy Beverley absolutely went scorched earth on CP3 today lol. It's almost like he saw the blowout loss and was like "awesome, I need to go to ESPN now to air my grievances"

I read some of the comments/commentary here but watching the actual vids, DANG.

But I'll admit, if you give him some time I think Beverley could be a solid NBA analyst after his playing career. He already looks the part and Reddick has been fantastic as usual.

Honestly a lot of what Patrick said made sense they weren't getting anything out of Chris Paul and they were attacking him they should have benched him

Curious to see what happens with Ayton this offseason. He's definitely not going back to Phoenix.

Sarver needs to go.

Ayton should go to Spurs though.

Ayton with Murray and Keldon Johnson would be a really good young big 3. Vassell, Lonnie Walker and Primo all look to be either good or likely to be good too.

Yet another Chris Paul team fails to even reach the conference finals, much less the NBA Finals.
Heard a stat that CP3 holds the record for blown 2-0 leads, I think it's 4.

Bev may be a clown but he's right that CP3 doesn't "deserve" a ring. He's a sure-shot HOFer and will join Reggie Miller, John Stockton, Karl Malone etc. as HOFers without rings. It's not terrible. There's life beyond basketball.

Ayton with Tatum and Brown would be even better. :P He's an elite screener + roller. I'd love to watch the Tatum-Ayton PnR!

Sarver may need to go but not because he doesn't want to give Ayton a Max deal.  Ayton is worth a Jaylen Brown level deal not Max.

In the abstract, perhaps.  But, he's "worth" what the market says he is, and is there any doubt he'll at least get the four-year max?

With the limited cap space this year, I do think there’s doubt.  My guess is Portland will do it, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him come in under a max deal.

Can San Antonio afford Ayton, with a new deal, and Gordon Hayward all while keeping Murray? That's a pretty quick rebuild. It won't be a championship contending team, but I think it's probably good enough to be out of the playin.

no one "deserves" a ring. its this mentality that had kevin durant hop on the warriors 73 win team for  ring. that now he's so sensitive about when players call him out on.

have much more respect for miller, stockton, barkley, malone for not doing that. and it doesnt change their legacy much.

Barkley and Malone definitely went ring chasing though.

Imagine Ayton in OKC. Add him to SGA, Dort, Giddey. You'd have such a nice young core to build with and OKC would still have a lot of draft picks and future cap space to potentially add 1 or even 2 really great pieces to potentially contend maybe after 2023.

Please let's keep the young, talented big man away from Portland.
