Everyone needs to watch First Take. Patrick Beverly and JJ Reddick talking basketball with Stephen A Smith. The eye rolling from Beverly when Stephen A. said stuff was worth the watch all by itself.

Beverly with some great takes, showed zero respect for Chris Paul and Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton and everyone on the Bucks not named Giannis. My favorite was when Stephen A. brought up Grayson Allen struggling, Beverly said "Who? Grayson Allen don't get no play in league locker rooms. Who you gonna complain about not showing up now? Pat Connaughton? Who are they?"

I remember last night, Lin tweeted that he hopes CP3 gets a ring before retiring and that he deserves it, and Pat Bev responded with something like, "huh, why on earth does he deserve one" and idk why but it made me laugh seeing that.

Overall though, I like seeing former and present players being on these platforms more. It's interesting to hear their perspectives and thoughts on certain matters since they've also experienced things or are experiencing them. Reddick was a fantastic add by ESPN and hope he finds more gigs in certain areas

Thought it funny that Bev didn't think Tatum was a two way player. JJ put him in his place with the "Did you see him play in the Nets series?" Bev said no. JJ with the, "then you don't know" type comment after that.

Tatum is a top two-way player. Pat Bev needs to watch more Celtics basketball.

Chris Paul should get a participation award.

Yet another Chris Paul team fails to even reach the conference finals, much less the NBA Finals.

I'd say he'd be the 3rd ranked two-way player behind Giannis and Embiid.

The great thing about Luka, one of the great things, is how much he enjoys playing. Tatum is like that too.

It was a funny segment, but the reality is (and always has been) that Pat Bev is a moron with a ridiculous ego for his ability. This tweet from Dame made me laugh: https://twitter.com/dame_lillard/status/1526285938132779008

Matt Barnes (former NBA player) was on ESPN recently and called Bev a clown for his anti-CP3 takes lol. It's a bloodbath at ESPN today (and NBA social media)

I will say though, I've seen a lot of blowouts but I don't think I ever saw anything as bad as last night especially given the circumstances with it being Game 7. Like Dallas was up 30 at halftime and had nearly a 50-point lead in the 3rd quarter  :o

If the Celtics had a first quarter yesterday that was more in line with how they played the last three quarters yesterday, today's top story would have been Boston's 40+ winning scoring margin and utter drumming of the best player in the world and the world champs and not on the utter drumming of a well past his prime, once an at best top 10 player in the world and a conference leading team.

C's still should have been the top story considering they beat the champs from last season and the league's top player whereas Dallas did not.  Dallas still won by a lot but Phx are not champs

I was busy today so was catching up a bit on Youtube. My god... did CP3 do something to Beverley on a personal level? Because boy Beverley absolutely went scorched earth on CP3 today lol. It's almost like he saw the blowout loss and was like "awesome, I need to go to ESPN now to air my grievances"

I read some of the comments/commentary here but watching the actual vids, DANG.

But I'll admit, if you give him some time I think Beverley could be a solid NBA analyst after his playing career. He already looks the part and Reddick has been fantastic as usual.

Since no games today, you can ask Lebron a question and he might just answer.
