Romo was awesome when he started, especially 2018-2019, but he really just fell off after that and a lot of that was just him not really caring and clearly not putting in the work before games. Remember when he'd call out plays before they happened, or he'd go over the schemes and plays in detail? He didn't do that as much after the COVID-season and it was constantly him just saying "OH JIM", "WOW", "OH I DON'T KNOW JIM" like thanks dude real insightful!
I agree, JJ Watt is really good and I feel it was a nice transition. And I think Watt can get even better in this role with more time alongside Nantz.
