Oh BTW...Klay Thompson now wants to play with the Lakers and will do so unless GS offers him a max deal.

So the Lakers are going to have Kyrie, Klay. James and AD....Maybe they can draft Zion too.

Heard Jesus Christ himself was considering opting out of the final year of his contract with Heaven’s Hellions to join LA, too.

All of this is just a campaign by James and Paul to weaken the Celtics in the eyes of AD. They are scared to death of Boston getting AD.

So they are throwing wide crap out there to scare off the NO from waiting to deal with the Cs. I hate Lebron James.

Seriously I have about as much credit as Ric Buecher. This (like the majority of NBA rumors) is BS. Consider the source people...

Jackie Mac says the rumor about Kyrie leaving Boston got started by Rich Paul. I’m gonna go with that.

Paul and LeBron's obvious media created storm to get AD to LA is so obvious it's like they were amatuers. Anyone who took anything other than AD's request to be traded as being true just missed the obvious.

Pretty much, and it’s hilarious that they think they can undermine DA. It makes no difference, if DA secured AD there’s no chance Kyrie leaves. This changes nothing.

It's so obvious, too. The history between Chris Haynes and Rich Paul has already been established going back to Chris Hayne's time with cleveland.com... Rich goes to his reporter friend and says "hey, drop this rumor in your story and the next time I have something going down, I'll let you break it." Chris agrees. Rich plants a bug in Brian Windhorst's ear too because he all does is follow Lebron around trying to get a sniff of his jock strap. Rumor starts spreading on social media so now the lower rung reporters (Ric Bucher) want to get in on the click-fest and go "oh yeah, my sources are saying that too!"

 ::)
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Bucher is a pretty well known and well regarded basketball analyst.  He has been doing it for a long time, working both for actual newspapers (including the Washington Post) as well as ESPN and now Bleacher Report.  He does TNT games as a sideline reporter, does commentary on NBA TV, and has a daily radio show on SiriusXM.  He is very well immersed in the NBA and has a lot of sources.  He isn't just some bum off the street.

You can say similar things about Sam Smith, Peter Vecsey, Chris Broussard, SAS, etc. It doesn’t mean they’re not currently thinly-sources rumor-mongering, attention-seeking hacks, though.

Sure, never said otherwise, I was merely pointing out that Bucher isn't just some hack running a blog.  He is a legit writer with a lot of actual NBA connections.  Doesn't mean he has a good source, but it also doesn't mean he doesn't.

Lakers know that if Anthony davis is not traded in the next 10 days then the celtics will have the best offer and much better chance to land him.

That is why Rich paul is throwing this out there. its all a ploy to try and Fleece NOL while the lakers have the best package as they know come summer celtics can blow that away with picks, young talent etc.

I think NOL is smart and wont trade davis because they know that the same deal from LA will be there in the summer. no need to panic.
