put me in the minority (and assuming that without reading through 10 pages) but I believe it.

Kyrie has been visibly frustrated by this team, by our record, by the young guys not bowing down to him etc.

I don't think Kyrie has that leader mindset he needs to have and maybe he realizes that now.

I also don't think he would consider it crawling back to Lebron. I think he would consider it being his equal at this point in their careers. I also think a team of Davis/Lebron/Kyrie is more appealing then a team with Kyrie/Horford/Hayward and a bunch of young guys who aren't buying in to him as the captain of this team. Hayward is a shell of himself, and might be for the rest of his career, Horford is old and it's been visible, and the young guys have a mindset that they did it without him last year, they don't need any of them this year.

I believe the stories that it's LA for the Brow regardless and I think Kyrie is realizing that he won't win as being the alpha on this team.

Ultimate F-U move by Ainge:

Clippers receive: Irving, Hill
Pelicans receive: Gallinari, SGA, Gortat, Yabusele, Kings pick, Memphis pick
Celtics receive: Davis

Lakers get neither Irving nor Davis. Pelicans get players who can play now, future prospects, good picks, and out of Hill's bad contract. Celtics get Davis.

I don't really want to trade Irving. I was just thinking about how you could make sure Lebron, Magic, and the Lakers lose out on George, Leonard, Butler, Davis, and Kyrie in the space of one year and have to settle for Love and/or Kemba.

It's just an interesting scenario.

I think its vitally important that Kyrie tell his teammates this story is false and then reassure Wyc, Ainge and Steven's isn't true. He doesn't have to say it publicly unless he wants too but internally they need to know.

If he wants to leave trade him now and keep it moving. Find the best deal possible and keep preparing for the playoffs.

I'm sick of the media trying to paint this picture like no one wants to play for the Celtics when really they are in the best position. They are so desperate for the Lakers and Knicks to be relevant. People forgot this team went to the ECF without Kyrie so getting guys to replace him will only strengthen the team.

This right here.

A good person would let management know of his intentions so that they can do what is right for them if the intent is to leave.

Unfortunately, it rarely works out that way.

but if he wants to stay, perhaps that is an easier thing to state.

He already did, before day1, with literally words, to the world
It's not about Kyrie, it's about people being insecure

He needs to squash the story if it's not true. We know he's been frustrated and things change from the beginning of the season.

Why? He's not feeding into the nonsense or sparking these rumors. He's talked about being with the C's for years in interviews since stating his plan to resign at the beginning of the season. He's been on the bench when he's not playing (I know that's super important to some fans) where he's been engaged with the team and coaching staff. The whole point of saying what he said at the beginning of the season was to preempt situations exactly like this. There's been no change in how he has approached things. People need to stop being gullible and panicking.

Personally,

I think Kyrie is though punching the clock for LeBron .

I think he  kinda had a shakeup revelation about his life's trajectory and wanted to make amends with his ex teamate was a way to get himself back on track and focus. Start at the begining and fix one bridge at a time. Im not reading anymore than that into this whole subject.

I'm saying he should squash it before the game today so media will not keep asking him about it. When he dodges it or doesn't answer it affirmatively then it gives more credence to the story. I d ok nt think he can get away with the "no comment" comment.

We know it's all Rich Paul and Bron feeding this narrative. It would smack in the face of Bron once again.

But why even bother? Waste of his time... He has already mentioned his intentions...

And he already had to quash the Jimmy Butler/NYK rumor. Is he supposed to make a statement every time someone throws a rumor out there? Because that's sounds super annoying.

I think it's safe to assume nobody on CB knows anything about Kyrie, unless he is pulling a KD on here and speaking on behalf of himself.

I think he'll address it tonight. If he doesn't then I start to think there may be something to it.
